Geraldo Rivera Talks About DWTS, Edyta Sliwinksa, Rehearsals, And More

If you skip to the 6:27 minute mark, you can listen to Geraldo Rivera talking about Dancing With the Stars on Fox & Friends this morning. He talked about Edyta Sliwinksa and rehearsals. He’s trying his best and feeling new muscles in his body he’s never felt before. Also, note that he’s already lost 8 pounds. Thanks, CEK.  This is so interesting.  One of the world's leading percussionists (I first read about her when she was giving a marimba performance)  is profoundly deaf.  One of the ways that she feels/hears the music is through her feet, through pulses in her body.  Her name is Evelyn Glennie, and she is from Scotland. Lots of links to learn about her music because she is quite famous and has won numerous awards.  I still have a hard time wrapping my mind around how she is able to do it and immediately thought of her when I first read about Nyle.  

Sorry I missed you KOS...I think it is going to be interesting to watch him on the show.  I think it is amazing that someone that can't hear can play an instrument and dance.  I am going to look her up now that you have mentioned her...
