Evening KOS....Hope you are doing well...
Thank you, CEK. I often drop by even though I do not have time to log in and post. Nevertheless, I have kept track of your fur baby issues and was glad to hear that Kaleb's ear problems have some solutions. I have the feeling that months ago I missed news about how he was doing with the frustration and outbursts that are so normal when kids do not fell up to par. Actually that is ture for adults too. LOL. Our family lost four fur babies from 2003 through 2009. I never gets easy, and we all want them to get the medical care they need so they are with us a little longer. My heart is with you.
Thank you KOS ... I have lost three in the past and it doesn't get any easier...I just wish there was something other than pain meds to help her. She is such a sweet thing.
The doctor is hoping that the tubes will resolve Kaleb's hearing deficit because of the fluid that is constant behind his ear drum. He is doing better with his little outburst not that he has been in school but does have a harder time hearing while there. His parents did inform his teachers of his problems at the beginning of the year. He is doing really well in school and reads very well.
So glad that he is doing well in school. Do they know when they are going to put the tubes in?

Wow, 4 fur babies in that short length of time......heartbreaking, I know. Do you have any pets now?
At the moment I do not, but I would like to get a kitten. Perhaps in the not too distant future.

Aww... I love kittens/cats, but have not had any for years. Just dogs. When I was a child, I had both.

No they wanted to wait till summer but not sure if that is an option. They are going to talk with the doctor again about it. I am sure if they could do it on a Friday by Monday he will be just fine. The problem is swimming with tubes and baths. When my daughter had tube they suggested she get molded ear plugs and she did and they were wonderful....she wore them till she got out of high school in the shower and swimming, and she LOVES to be in the water.

With my daughter it was in a couple days she could tell the difference...the noises were actually really loud to her after they were in and it hurt her ears.
