Howdy, Sisters! Hope all of you had a memorable Good Friday.
Thought I would pop in while my rice is cooking!😋 Seems all I do is cook!! Tomorrow I'm doing a turkey---the day before Easter. Our Annual Adult and Children's Easter Egg Hunt is canceled this year because my SIL and her family are spending tomorrow and Sunday at Great Wolf Lodge about 2 miles south of Disneyland!!! LOL I'm always amused when people go to a local place for a vacation...but I guess it's a popuar thing to do these days! The rest of the family will miss the Easter Egg Hunt hiatus....but hope that next year we can have it again!!😃Evening Jet...glad to see you tonight...Sorry about the Easter Egg Hunt...and you are right we have a lot of people here that go up to Williamsburg for vacation that is only 40 minutes from Norfolk/Chesapeake/VA Beach....
Hi, CEK.....LOL I never thought of locals going Williamsburg!! I LOVE Williamsburg...and we have had some great times there when we've been there to visit my mom and brother--but since we come from across the country, I wouldn't think about what the local folks do!! LOL The difference, tho, to me, is that Williamsburg has beautiful grounds and wonderful history...while Great Wolf Lodge is an indoor water park!! In SoCal we could almost do water parks all year...but they are only open in the summer, of course!!

No they wanted to wait till summer but not sure if that is an option. Â They are going to talk with the doctor again about it. Â I am sure if they could do it on a Friday by Monday he will be just fine. Â The problem is swimming with tubes and baths. Â When my daughter had tube they suggested she get molded ear plugs and she did and they were wonderful....she wore them till she got out of high school in the shower and swimming, and she LOVES to be in the water.my niece had tubes and it was the same she needed to wear ear plugs
My grandson had tubes and I don't recall that he wore ear plugs...but could well have. They eventually came out and he's had no problems since then (got them when he was maybe about 3).
Hope that Kaleb's hearing will improve with the tubes, CEK. Glad that your furbabies are doing ok too.Â
My niece only had to wear them to swim or bathe

Hello Ladies, Can't stay too long, but I saw you all online and thought I would drop in for a bit.
So glad that you and your daughter can spend Easter at home with the family April.Â
Hi CEK & KOS !!! How are you doing?Hi Luv, I am doing well.  How about you?
Âhow are your dinners going Kos????? Â anything special planned for Easter????
The dinners are going well and are attracting a lot of attention. Â I promise to write a post about all that has happened. Â In the meantime those of you who do Facebook. Â We have an FB page, Beloved Community of DeKalb County, Illinois. Â Activists from Chicago showed up on Sunday night. Â The price of these going well is that all sorts of folks now want to partner. Â Sometimes that means take over. Â My younger son, the singer wants to do a video essay about BMI (Black Male Initiative), their realtionship with both police departments (university and city) and the fact that when the dinners are not near campus, the NIU police chief and his officers provide rides for these young me. Â My son said, "This, I bet, is the only place in the nation that there is this kind of relationship between the police and young African American men."

I am so afraid that it is going to effect our other dog here when something happens to Bella...he has been with her since he was 8 weeks old...He is so afraid of everything and when they have to be boarded he always has to stay in the run with her...it is going to be hard on him I am afraid...

LOL, my Calico wasn't afraid of our dogs either. She would go up to the fence just to torment/swat them AND she was declawed. lol

Marmaduke loves to CHASE cats!!! He sniffs them out of the bushes across the street. Once the chase is over, he's finished with them!!! Doesn't bother much with dogs either, other than to sniff them, then go off and hike his leg on our tree!!! LOLÂ
