Hmmm Let me think about that...LOL
I posted the songs for this Monday night earlier today...they all are good for Latin NightLOL.......ummmmmm......ummmmm...... I am wondering how many times Maks will show up for their rehearsals this week??????......LOL....just kidding
Did you hear what Kym said on All Access, that he dances like Maks. My thought too, when I saw them. I bet Maks demonstrates it and he is of course the best visual learner one could imagine. The show plays up the communication issue of course as that intrigues people.
Spot on!! Now that it's been stated, that is absolutely right!!! So we'll be seeing Peta dancing with Maks this season, I guess!!!! LOL LOL

Happy Easter to you all!
April, I'm so glad that you get to be home.
KOS, you are such an inspiration with your projects and actions. I cannot imagine people not being moved by you when you are there in person.
Carrie, please stop in for a visit! Or even let one of us know if you are lurking occasionally.
I have an update. I completed my first week of physical therapy. When the therapist evaluated me on Monday, my worst ability was to be able to bring my hand to my shoulder (if you have your hand at your side and bend the elbow, I could not make a 90 degree angle with it. I'm now at about 105 degrees. That will be the most difficult one. In terms of straightening it out, I'm at about 165 degrees. There's also wrist flexibility to work on and twisting. I can't quite turn my palm completely upward. But given the progress I've made in one week, I'm very optimistic. And I'm nothing if not dogged and determined in my exercising and working out.
The therapist stretches/bends my arm while I'm there. The bending can be somewhat painful. I was thinking of ways to distract myself from it and figured while I'm lying there on my back, I'll do leg lifts. The head therapist came over to see what I was doing. We said I was trying to distract myself. I remarked that it was kind of like a dog when you scratch their tummy, my leg goes up and down!
I've been swimming every day since they told me I could (4 days). I incorporate as many of the movements as I can that I'm working on into swimming the breast stroke as well as stretching in various ways in the pool and throwing in some dance moves. It really loosens things up.
We had our regular dance lessons and a practice dance last night. I'm still working out what I can and cannot do, but I think I'll have fewer and fewer restrictions as I feel more confident about my arm. I measure my progress now in small ways--I can hook my bra, touch my nose, lick chocolate off my index finger, zip up my hoodie, tie my shoes, scratch my head--now on to fastening my jeans. After 5 weeks, we'll move on to weight bearing activities. I really have to watch myself to not lift anything over a pound with that arm.
I was supposed to drive 3 hours to a concert of my Irish singing duo that I've talked about on Thursday night. Hubby flatly refuses to go. It was very windy with gusts and raining all day. I finally decided that I couldn't justify leaving work early when we are short staffed (even if I am the boss) and a 3-hr. drive where I would need to use both hands most of the way. I PM'd the guys on Facebook to tell them how sorry I was I couldn't be there, and I got a PM back last night, saying that it wouldn't seem right without me (I have followed them A LOT) and that if I could make any other shows to let them know and they would have a ticket waiting for me at the door. How can you not be a fan of someone like that?
Hope you all have a wonderful Easter.
Great news, tango. It sounds as though you are doing very well. When is the competition again??

I did make hot cross buns yesterday !
Hope you all have a wonderful day.
We are busy getting ready for our trip to Las Vegas and our own townhouse in AZ. From the list I've seen of my highschool classmates planning to attend the get together in Las Vegas, it should be a blast. Many of my favorites and besties are making the trip.
I'll visit with you when I can...and get my picks in for the show of course.
Hugs.

Roasting a turkey today....and everything is in the oven so thought I would take a moment to offer my joyful Easter greetings to everyone.
As you know, our annual adult and younger Easter Egg Hunt is canceled (BOOO!), so I thought we should have one here. I'm getting it ready early since tomorrow may be busy!!
Always difficult to wait for the "go" signal
And this time it's only the kids who get to hunt (since there are no pics of adults looking foolish hunting Easter eggs!!!).
And when were're done, you are all invited to join us for hubby's birthday cake (we're starting the celebration a day early since Easter didn't fall on his birthday this year).
A JOYOUS EASTER TO ALL OUR SISTERS!
Thanks for the Easter Egg Hunt Jet and I will share the cake with my hubby too!!!
Happy Easter to you!
