A quick hello from me.
Having a wonderful and relaxing time so far…the Las Vegas fun isn’t until the middle of next week.
I’m disappointed that my Encaustic Painting class had to be cancelled…something I have never tried, but would like to. The Classes and Tours person assured me that it will be offered again this coming fall, so I may try to take it then. It’s somewhat like oil painting…or even finger painting in its simplest form, but the “paint” is highly pigmented melted wax.
I am going to take a mosaic tiles art class instead. And actually this is very good because I have a repair that I may be able to do myself after learning some basics.
So sorry that I can’t keep up (or even catch up) on the board. It seems to me that things are going pretty well with most sisters. Niecey getting serious chemo, Tango healing up quickly. Pets hanging in there.
I wanted to remind anyone who watches Who Do You Think You Are? that the premier episode of this current season is tonight.
I know that Lea Michele is going to be the subject of one of the future episodes. She tweeted about it.

Hi Everyone, Here is the latest chart on our game. Also, I think we should get our picks in for "is anyone going to drop out this season" question before Monday's night show. It is a 50/50 question, so you have a good chance of getting a point. LOL
Luv, I'm certainly sticking with Mischa to go home. She might squeak by one more week, but it's inevitable.
And for heaven's sake....poor Artem....I don't think romantic sparks could possibly fly between him and a partner so lack luster - who "doesn't have much natural dance ability" and who will get them booted off so soon. You may keep them in my Sparks Could Fly column but they are not the lovey dovey kind!!
Does this look like a happy pair?

I'll try to be on my tablet tomorrow night. It's sure to be an emotional show...Memorable Year.

Tango...did you say you were going to the show????
Oh, yes, I am! I have front row seats for hubby and I at the Ryman in Nashville on July 31. M&G and everything. It's a 3-hour drive, so we'll probably start the drive back after the show and stay in a motel somewhere.

And I think I'll chose Paige and Mark / Alan for the top of the leader board.

I had an evaluation by the therapist Friday. I met all the goals they had set for me the first week. (I assume that means 5 days of therapy.) All the movements (right/left/forward/back of my wrist, straightening my arm, bending my arm, twisting my wrist) improved between 5 & 15%. Bending still has the furthest to go. The pool really helps.
Spent the weekend working on my first costume. It's all together. I have some handwork to do on the inside, putting trim around the neck and gluing the rhinestones. Hemming will be the big job. It's machine hemming but it's a huge skirt, and finding the right length is the trickiest part. I'll have to put it on and do some of the dances to be certain. I've posted some pictures on my Facebook page (Jayne Danser) if anyone is on Facebook, but I'll try to figure out how/where to put them so you all can see them.

It sounds like you're doing well. I love your determination!
