You are right.  Number one is the lie.  My husband has incredible blue eyes with long eyelashes, and all three of our children inherited the same from him.  My eyes are hazel.

How nice they all have his blue eyes!  Blue is recessive; brown is dominant....so that means you contributed a recessive gene in each case or the brown would have come thru!

I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer. I heard the brown eye gene prevails more often than not.  It did in our family.  I'm blue-grey eyed, but my little guy has the dark brown eyes of his Dad.  Well it is 1.30 am.  But I will try to come up with three facts to keep the ball rolling.

Our youngest granddaughter has gray eyes.  We've heard that runs in those of British descent....but maybe just generally in Europeans?

My hubby has blue eyes and our son got those with lighter hair than our daughter who got brown eyes.

OK--I will guess that #3 is the lie!! Now we have them all covered!!! Hopefully KOS will weigh in soon!!

My granddad did immigrate from Ireland at around the same time as Joe Kennedy did.

Note.  In the future, I promise to get on the board more quickly in the morning if I have posted on this thread the night before.  I don't want to hold up the game.

Somehow I thought that was a truth--but since it was what was left, I decided to go with it!!!  LOL

Ok, Gabriele....I know you are multi-lingual but I will say that #1 is the lie.

You're right, Jet.  It's only four that I played with.  I took a leaf out of view's book who 'inflated' her number of siblings by one.     Over to you now, Jet and I off to bed with me.......

Ding, Ding......Jet, you are right. I am not related to our Governor.

CEK, I was on TV as a child.  It was a local program that used children from around town.  It was called Romper Room.  I think I was 7 or 8.   I know I was in elementary school. lol   I remember a lot from that experience.  One was that we taped several episodes a day.  We had to bring several changes of clothes to the "set" and our moms would help us change between "shows".  It was kind of a educational/fun show for children.  I was in no way a "child star" as you were only on for a week, before they "rotated" to new children, but it makes a neat story. LOL

Okay Jet, Your turn.

I used to watch Romper Room! Apparently, when my second brother was born, my aunt arranged for us to be "seen" in the magic mirror. She said my name, my brother's, and our "new baby brother."

Re: The Games Sisters Play

I kept thinking  - what could have occurred with the window that gabriele would never want to wash it.

(You know, the way we sometimes say, I'll never wash my cheek again, or hand again if someone idolized shook it)

LOL... it's probably just that it's so high or inaccessible!!

No this is not the lie.  I do have only one grandson and feel badly that he is the lone boy among his strong willed sister and three strong willed cousins.  He deserves a medal.

We have the same breakdown of grandchildren in our family (no other boys on either side in that generation, actually!). Our grandson pretty much just rolls with it. It is funny how they seek out those who are their age. He is a few months younger than our daughter's eldest, who, while adopted, is biologically related to our DIL (her first cousin is the bio mom of that one! Very complicated!). Funny thing is that these two are the same age for most of the year--and they share SOOOO many personality traits!! They are both dominant personalities, head strong, particular about many things, they both have excellent math abilities and spatial orientation, but they don't really look alike at all! I agree, however, that those sole boys do deserve a medal....and particularly so when the girls get to teenagedom!!

How funny I only have one grandson too!!! and three 4 grand daughters...boy we are alike in so many ways.

And for the color of the eye thing...my hubby has brown and out of the 4 children non have brown eyes 3 blue and one hazel...

Ah, it is. It's the first day of autumn! A time for hot chocolatety mornings, and toasting marshmallow evenings, as best of all, leaping into *leaves*!
