Ah, it is. It's the first day of autumn! A time for hot chocolatety mornings, and toasting marshmallow evenings, as best of all, leaping into *leaves*!

Re: Really? Red over Pink?

1. I was dragging Main with a girlfriend, he in a car with his buddy, buddy and she wanted to get to know each other, so all went bowling; reacquainted when he called 16 years later.

2. Ocean beach house

3. I did lose my sense of smell for many weeks due to an infection and that resulted in a loss of taste except for salty, bitter, etc.  So I am going to say sense of taste.  Because I think the smell must contribute a lot of it anyway.

4. Pepsi…mostly because hubby built them a large facility a few years ago.  They were our customers.

5. I have to say Starbucks because we don’t have Dunkin Donuts.  Caribou and Starbucks.

6. Both with kids.  Board games with adults.

7. Other than the Message Board?   I am altering a lot of clothes to fit well/be comfortable/ be as flattering as they can be.  That sounds like work, but I’m enjoying it.

8. Dogs, purse, medicines.

9. Jimmy Fallon

10. Love them both….Pictionary

11. My original morning smoothie

12. I don’t know many except the regulars...  I’ll pick 5: Val, Mark, Tristan, Keo, Sasha

13. Allison, Jenna, Lindsay, Anna, Sharna

Here are the lyrics to Queen's, 'Who wants to live forever?'

There's no time for us,
There's no place for us,
What is this thing that builds our dreams, yet slips away from us.

Who wants to live forever,
Who wants to live forever.....?
There's no chance for us,
It's all decided for us,
This world has only one sweet moment set aside for us.

Who wants to live forever,
Who dares to love forever,
When love must die.

But touch my tears with your lips,
Touch my world with your fingertips,
And we can have forever,
And we can love forever,
Forever is our today,
Who wants to live forever,
Who wants to live forever,
Forever is our today,
Who waits forever anyway?

Thank you, Gabriele.  I knew so little about Freddie Mercury when he was becoming famous or when he was at the height of his fame.  I have blown away by his haunting words in so many of his songs.  Thank you for sharing these lyrics.  And like so much great poetry, lyrics come from a specific time and situation but they also transcend the time and the specific situation.

I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer. My claim to fame.  I do not have my tonsils.  It seems that all the rest of you do.  And here I thought that it was SOP for all of us who are now 60 or older to have our tonsils removed.  I am now guessing that it was a thing that the Chinese doctors felt should be taken out.  I still remember the surgery, scarey because a mask was put over my face to administer the ether.  The plus side----lots and lots of attention.

You are right, KOS. It used to be done frequently. In fact, when my late husband's brother had his out, the doctor offered to do Richard's too, for the same price, so his mother said okay. R. wasn't having any trouble with his, but I guess the dr. thought he would in the future. My regular dr. told mother that mine should be removed (when I was about five or six), but she then took me to a specialist who said, "No", so that is why I still have mine.

Re: Really? Red over Pink?

And it seems to me it often was a 1, 2 punch...tonsils and adenoids.

I know my cousin had them both removed as a child.  Wonder if that is routinely done anymore....
