Re: Seasons Come, Seasons Go... So Let's Dance Like We're 22

Hi, CEK

Even if we don't play our game this season....we should figure out how to have some sort of winner.  Maybe just through a drawing.  Or that crazy site that let's you throw the dice.

I'd like to send someone the tiny mirrorball that I bought....

Actually, view wouldn't it be interesting, if the 'guesses' were via pm to the scorekeeper instead of open for all to see.  There wouldn't be a reason to wait what move the others make.  Except the scorekeeper would have an advantage knowing the trends.  But I guess, if that makes it more likely for the scorekeeper to win, it would be deserved, considering the work put in. What do you think?

Or we could take a wild stab at who will win. Remember what Wendy Williams said to Maks and Meryl after they won? "As soon as I heard that you two would be partners, I knew you would win."
If I had done that for season 22, after seeing them dance, I would have chosen Paige and Mark. I thought, and still do, that Paige was the best dancer on the show!

Yes!!

Either of these things sound like fun to me.  Secret Ballot.

And it is after all, the making and maintaining of the Chart that is a bit of a drag...and time consuming.
What do you think, Luv??

Whatever you all want to do is fine.  I still have the "charts" from last years game, so whatever works for everyone is okay with me. lol   I might miss a couple of weeks during this season, that is why I was concerned with keeping the chart/scores.  Should we make a poll on what "type" of game we would like to play for this upcoming season? Rules and such?  View, this is your "baby" so whatever you and the sisterhood decide.....I will make work. LOL

Idea.......

We could "switch it up" and make it different for each season.  A secret ballet one season, chart another, or something else the sisters may think up.  It all works for me and may make the game "fresh" for each new season. lol    Having the game helps me keep interested in the show, so I don't mind the work.   To tell the truth, if it wasn't for the game, not sure how interested I would be, IF there wasn't someone I was rooting for. LOL

Friendship is a priceless gift that can't be bought or sold, its value is far greater than a mountain made of gold.
May this FriendSHIP always have wind in its sails and a sunrise on the horizon.

Hi guys!  I agree with Luv and View about changing it up this season and keeping it simple.  I, too, might have to miss a couple of shows if we decide to go on vacation in September.

This video from the Our Way tour may have already been posted here, but in case anyone missed it, I wanted to share it because I thought it was hilarious.  Maks picked a woman from the audience to join him onstage during the *Prom Queen* segment of the show.  Her reactions are so cute and the lady who was filming it was laughing her head off, which I also thought was hilarious.

Re: Seasons Come, Seasons Go... So Let's Dance Like We're 22

GOOD MORNING, y'all!!  Well, it's still morning here on the left coast!

Been up since dawn; hubby left before 7 to go to the VA for a couple things.  Spent 2 HRS. in the ER waiting for someone to see if the stitches in his leg were ready to come out!!!  NOT ready!!!  So I ate breakfast alone at 10--and he waltzed in the door RIGHT after I'd finished!!  LOL  Some days "be" like that--but in his absence I had time to put together 3/4 of a quilt top that's been on the floor for the past 2 days!!!

So I'm ready to go out and run some errands in a minute or two.

Have a great afternoon, everyone!

I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer. I agree with all of you as well.  The game....whatever it is....helps me stay interested in what has become a rather lackluster program for me most of the time.  Many of the pros I liked are gone and I haven't been that impressed with some of the "new" things they've done since the new producer.

So anything works for me.  Since I'm not very techy, not sure I could help in that area very well.  But I could tally the votes or keep score of the secret ballots, if you need a volunteer!!  Only thing is that I'm 3 hours behind everyone else so that may not work too well.  OTOH, might not matter.

Guess we can all give it "a think".

Off to run errands.....
