Today is Kaleb's 6th Birthday...We are having a birthday dinner for him tomorrow night at our favorite Mexican Restaurant (he has flag football practice tonight and didn't want to miss it)  So hard to think that he is 6...WOW time flies.  He wanted a gift card to Target for his birthday so he could pick out his present and that is good cause I have no idea what he has and don't have in the way of toys...he love action figures and wrestling....

So have a good Monday and I will see you all a bit later...

Hope he has a great day..

Luv thank you and the cakes are, as always....wonderful....He will love them...

yes, best wishes to Kaleb....darling wrestling cake, Luv.

Back from scrubbing off the deck, and a few other things outside.  One thing leads to another on a beautiful morning such as this.  65 degrees, sunny, low humidity – and when the forecast high is 99 !! It’s good to do things early in the day.

I was looking back at Luv’s chart from last season.  Yikes….this was the season we were going to have such fun with the Trifecta!!

I hope the sisterhood can make it work.  I just know that I can not be depended on, what with my husband’s health issues.  And my friend’s hip surgery.

Heading out for some shopping and errands.

But I saw this on twitter.  Jetmama, is that California fire still raging?

Good morning (still morning here anyway!)!!

My iPad external keyboard needs charging so this will not be long!! . The two thumbs method is not so efficient!!!

I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer. CEK...I'll ask my husband about the generator.  We have owned one, and they were used frequently on the jobsites.

I intended to say that my brother in VA Bch has one.  Being the Navy and homeless shelter volunteer cook, he seems to feed the neighborhood during a storm!!  He has a big generator that pretty much powers his house....for sure the 3 fridges and the lights, TVs, and radios!!!  LOL. He did have to have his circuit breaker panel retired for this big one.  He has had 2 smaller ones before that (pre about 3 years ago that lit the kitchen area and from which he ran an extension to his neighbor next door when they had a baby and needed to keep the food cold enough.  That was during Isabella so you know how long ago that was.

I can ask my brother what he has and/or did have.  Might be helpful to you.  We talk about getting a generator as we are very overdue for a major quake, but only talk about it!!!

Been thinking.......

Maybe, we can make the trifecta the "secret ballot" part of the game?  We would have to settle on "rules" and probably a date that it must be in, but it might be fun and would make sure those that are not able to play week to week a chance to win.  If there is more then one person who guesses correctly, then those people play that roll of the dice game, highest number wins...or something else to break the tie. (Ideas please for the tie-breaker)   I think the "secret ballot" should only have one winner.  What do you sisters think?  If there are some that still want to do the week to week thing, I can get it started and help you out so that it will not be too big of a thing for you do deal with (hopefully).   We still have some time to decide for this season, so keep those thinking caps on. LOL
