She finally made it!!Yay, Jenna! I'm so happy for her!
She's a great dancer; it's just a matter of being able to choreograph, and I hope she does well with that! (Peta disclosed on DWTS that she got help from another choreographer for the free dance with Nyle, so I guess that's allowed.)
I have to think that Peta got a lot of help last season for all sorts of pros!!! LOL

Hi guys
I have a few quiet minutes so wanted to update
She is doing well....still in the hospital but doing better.....she is getting closer to going home so hopefully soon.....when she does we will be going to my cousin's for awhile because we need to be close to the hospital.
So I get here and in the words of Alexa...LOL...."HOLY WOW"!!!!!!....LOL....MAKS AND EMMA ARE BACK!!!!!YAY!!!! AND JENNA'S A PRO!!!!!! OMG!!
So happy for them....I am excited to see Maks dance again but I must admit to me I will miss seeing Meryl as his partner....but I think he brings a dynamic to the show that it just needs to me
I saw some questions about the game.....my suggestion would be this.....we leave it as it is for now because it works for us and we kind of have the routine down.....the couple weeks Luv can't be here to do it we use as "bye weeks"....and we just watch the show for fun and don't count points.....to handle the issue of some sisters missing weeks and making it fair.....we introduce the "Mirror Ball Pass"......meaning that each sister gets a pass for two weeks to be used on the weeks of that sisters choice.....for those weeks the sister using their pass will get all points available those 2 weeks.......this way it can be used if someone needs to go on vaca or even if a sister isn't going to miss any time watching she can still use it and everyone gets at least 2 weeks of points....when a sister wants to use her pass she just pm's Luv to let her know so she can mark it down on the chart...what do you guys think???? would this work???? without being 2 complicated????
Cek I hope all goes well with your knee![]()
and Vmm....glad the first day of school went well for everyone
Gabriele....how is the school search going for your little guy????
Physical therapy just got here to work with her so I gotta run.....talk to you all soon (((hugs))
April....so happy that everything is going well for you and Niecey!! I'll bet you guys will enjoy being OUT of the hospital...whenever that time comes! Readying the checkered flag!
I think the idea of 2 "bye" weeks is great! That will add an element of chance (much like the dartboard method!!! LOL)--and everyone is still able to guess or throw darts or whatever. I think that keeps it simpler than going in a whole different direction.
Anyone else have thoughts?

Just for thoughts...what do you all think of the Pros that we know will be on Season 23 ....
Males...Maks, Val, Artem, Sasha, Gleb, Mark, Keo (I think)
Females...Emma, Sharna, Jenna, Lindsay, Witney, Allison (Edyta ????)Maks -- Peta will watch him like a hawk! (his reactions to his partner); Gleb -- Very Good-looking (maybe better than Maks; Artem -- hope he wins
Sharna -- the most beautiful woman in the cast; hope she wins.
I agree with you that Gleb is quiet good looking...Sharna is a beautiful woman as well...I may agree that she is the prettiest on the show....

How did things go today CEK?
Hey Luv...Thanks for asking...
I am sorry that I didn't put my update on yesterday, and I was going to do it when I got on for a minute in the afternoon but the phone was ringing and the the dog was wanting to go out so I just got off cause I couldn't concentrate....
I absolutely loved the orthopedic doctor yesterday he was very nice, gentle and had a wonderful bedside manor answering all my questions...and he is NOT surgery "pushy"...
The only think that is going to completely take care of the problems in my knee is to do a full replacement but he said that I didn't have to do it until I knew that I was ready to have it done and he said that I would know when that time was. I got a cortisone shot in it and it feels a bit better in some area but not to much in the other...I can live with that for now...I do have a high pain tolerance which he said could be good and bad at the same time. Good because I can take the pain but bad because I actually didn't know that my knee was in the shape it was in...he said most people with a knee like mine would be in terrible unbearable pain not even able to walk, so I guess I am lucky in that area...
So I am going to wait it out and see how it goes. I know it is not good to wait until things get so bad that the repair is much more than it could have been, but right not is not the time...
Hi, CEK....glad you like the doctor and that you got sound advice.
Have a friend who has similar problems. Has already had one knee replacement and now it is the hip on the same side---but that began as very bad back spasms. The pain meds make her hallucinate (!)--even when cut in half--so she has been pretty much laid up in bed for 3-4 weeks at a time twice since maybe April? She is getting around now but only after seeing the orthopedist (who did the knee replacement). He told her the cortisone shot in the hip would tell them if it was the hip or the spine. If it's the hip, he said, the cortisone will make her feel like she can get up and move around, etc. If the shot didn't help at all, they would know it was spine and he would send her to a spine specialist.
So the shot has worked for the past month (he said it might work for a week or 6 mos...or not at all!), she is doing noticeably better, has returned to work and other normal activities slowly. She starts physical therapy on Monday to see if that helps (she has alot of arthritis in her hips and some in her spine, so....) but the likelihood of a hip replacement is definitely on the table. So I would say that both diagnoses are quite similar. Just be sure to do the replacement before you fall and break a bone. Our quilt teacher has broken her legs and/or ankles about 4 times in 5 years because she needs one or both knees replaced and hasn't done either!!! NOT good!!!
Stay well and keep moving!
Thanks so much for that Jet...I try to be careful and take it easy. The cortisone shot has made some improvement in the pain but not all of it. I definitely don't want to break anything. I know that a replacement is in the future how far that is the question. I have been told that you don't want to wait to long as the damage can be more difficult to correct. I did get good news from my bone density test it has improved from the one two years ago that was good to hear. I guess all the calcium and vitamin D are doing what they should. I hope now that I have had the cortisone shot I can get back to the exercises that I got from PT that I haven't been able to do like I should because it was painful...
Hope you are doing well Jet. How is the weather in your neck of the woods??? I hope the fires out there are calming down...
