Well, first let's decide if we guess before the 1st episode or after we see them dance once; we haven't decided that yet, have we? I vote for seeing them dance the first week.

Annie, I think it has been decided that the secret ballot (trifecta) will come after we see the first show. To win, you have to have the Winner/Runner Up/Third place all in the correct order as they finish in the show. What hasn't been decided is the chart. Last year, I had a similar choice, but it was made before the first showed aired and you didn't need them in the correct order, just somewhere in your picks. It was worth 2 pts for each correct answer. I am not sure if the sisters want to do that this year again or not. Input would be welcome. Anyway, for the Trifecta, we watch the show and PM me (in the subject line put "Trifecta") with your answers sometime before wk 2 airs. Those picks will remain "sealed" until the last show airs. At that time, we will see who wins (if any person does....lol) and they will get the Tiny Mirror Ball Keychain that View has.

Is this correct sisters? I know that "rules" are still being worked out.

However, like most said...it is really playing the game that matters, not how it is played. hehe

Would it be too hectic or complex to do this:

a) During the first week after the 1st show airs, everyone who wants to sends Luv their secret trifecta ballot (doesn't that sound mysterious??!! LOL) where is sits until the end of the season.

b) Then sometime after the 2nd show...after we see who gets eliminated and who is left....we add a column like we had last year, in which we can list the Top 3 as we think they will end up (might be very different from what any of us think after episode 1). Maybe we award 3 pts. for correctly choosing the MBT winner, 2 pts. for 2nd, 1 pt. for third rather than 2 pts. across the board. At least we'd have a 2nd shot at picking the Top 3--whether or not anyone picked correctly. Total points determines the winner of the chart portion so we'd still have at least 2 winners.

ANY COMMENTS?

Addendum to b) above: If we just picked 3 couples we think will be in the final (locked in after week 6 like we did last time...not pick specific order of finish. The appropriate number of points would be awarded for any couple dependent on how that couple finished. Does that make sense?

The headline to this is sooooo deceiving! I was expecting to read something about how he saw the light and all that...NOT! It didn't even effectively describe the actual injury. It was about the people around him, the support, breaking up with his girl friend, etc......and that's ok, but the sensationalism of the headline was a little over the top!

This is what the chart columns looked like for last season. I awarded 2 pts for each correct final couple that you guessed before the season started, then later, like you said we again picked our final 3 and a "Ultimate Winner".
Was this your question? I admit, I kind of speed read your post, so I might have misunderstood what you were asking. Also, My mind is mush right now, so I will have to re-read your suggestions later........lol

(sorry for posting the whole chart......when I tried to just post the columns it didn't work.....my computer is giving me issues or it is because I can't think "Techy" at the moment. LOL)

So we should be able to eliminate the preseason final 3 column as that is replaced by the secret ballot trifecta. Then between week 2 and 6 we can make our guesses on the final 3; changes allowed until week 6. I think we could also eliminate the drop out column? Not really sure that can go anywhere...it is all pretty random.

Does that make sense, Luv? Anyone else?
