I haven't watched AGT much so far this season. But I see from the other thread that Luv and Booky are watching.
I hope to catch the Finals. I know from following Janel Parrish on twitter that her good friend and collaborator is one of the finalists. Do you remember this song they videoed together a year or so ago?
I hope he does well.
Good afternoon, sisters all. Never meant to be off this long. I have a new computer, but three different times an outside entity has frozen my screen and browser. The third time I was not able to get them off; and because this computer is a Mac, the people I do know who are brilliant on PC's did not want to risk making a mistake because they know very little about Apple computers. And so I needed to make a trip into Chicago and have a meeting with the geniuses at Apple. Except I then bruised the heel, sole and arch on my left foot, pretty seriously, and had to put off going until my foot was healed. So no computer access for a couple of weeks and housebound as I had to stay off my foot as much as possible.
On my first day out, I dropped by a new coffee shop here in town called Common Ground. I had met the owner before all these other problems appeared. And I met him because a young friend , (not a religious person but a person who has been very good to me and who frequently comes to the Beloved Community Potlucks) who is a County Board member called me and said, "Get over to Common Ground. You and Jeff Foster are destined to become great friends because what the Beloved Community is doing is what he wants to do with this Common Ground. And she is right. He too is a Christian and wants everyone in the community to feel welcome and safe at this Coffee Shop/used bookstore . And so I did and she was right. When I arrived on my first day out, he had not seen me for over two weeks. I explained what had happened both to my foot and my computer and that I was going to go to meet with the Apple Geniuses in Chicago,. And he said, "Guess what I am an Apple Genius. Bring your computer into tomorrow and I will fix it. AND HE DID!!!!
Sorry for this long intro. And you are probably wondering, what is wrong with this woman? Why did she writet this under the music video. Soon after I had access to my computer again, a video of Byan Crum's second perfomance at AGT appeared on my FB page. It had millions of views. I decided to listen. It was a stunning performance of "Creep" by Radio Head. When he began, there was an immediate hush. And when he finished, dead silence before the clapping began. This is another one of those incredibly beautiful and unexpected experiences that take my breath away.8:16Brian Justin Crum - Creep - America's Got Talent - July 19, 2016Trevor Henderson

Bye for now. Hope you have a good day.
Is it Springtime in Australia, gabriele? Do you have livestock on your place...it seemed kind of rural.Hi view! Yes, spring started on the 1st of September. We had a beautiful 24 C (75 F) day already this week. We still have our three Wiltipoll sheep, who are self-shedding. The birds love their wool for their nests. They had ear tags when I bought them as lambs, which I forgot to remove as we released them onto our place. They are 1337, hence 'LEET' and 1307, for us 'agent 07'.
It's a shame you aren't in our game this season. You mentioned the hip replacement and tests your husband had to undergo. I've been thinking of you and your husband and hope it has turned out ok. xox
HAPPY SPRING, GABRIELE! I love the names of your sheep!
View, I hope that everything is going to alright with your husband. Thoughts and prayers.....Please keep us posted.

I supposed you heard about this!! 110 tourists dangling overnight at 12,000 feet.
Such a nightmare.I would n't have to worry about being rescued cause I would have had a heart attack already....
😂😂😂 I'm with you, CEK!! I tend not to be very patient in situations in which I have no control. That was one VERY CHILLY night at 12,000 feet! In Vietnam, hubby would shoot up to 10,000' AGL in his helicopter to cool off!!! LOL That was during the daytime!! Very uncomfortable to be up there overnite.😢😢

Not much going on here either. Almost time to start fixing dinner....again!! Tomorrow is a big veterans' fundraiser car show hubby is going to. I will turn up a few hours before it ends because that is the most interesting time. He goes way too early to park in a good spot!! But there will hopefully be more cars than usual...and parking to attend will be horrendous, I'm sure!! Maybe they will run a shuttle!! LOL Not a chance, but oh well....I can walk a few blocks. Need to wash the dog when it warms up about mid-day.
Hope everyone has a good evening!

Exclusive: Gleb Savchenko Statement On How It Feels To Back, DWTS Week One Dance Teaser, And More
We wrote to Gleb Savchenko to see if he had any Dancing With The Stars Season 23 Week One teasers for us. We also asked him how it felt to be returning to the US version of Dancing With The Stars. You can read below for what he wrote to us.
Gleb Savchenko: I’m so happy to be reunited with my Dancing With The Stars family. My daughter Olivia is about to start school in LA so it seemed like the perfect move for me and my family. I’ve been partnered with the country singer and actress Jana Kramer who has absolutely no dance experience but a week into training and she’s doing great. Jana’s enthusiasm and eagerness to learn together with her being such a hard worked makes up for her lack of experience and we’re excited now for the opening week. Our dance is the Viennese Waltz and the version I’ve choreographed is quite sexy and sensual. We’re just working out the outfits, but, I’m sure they’ll match the theme. We had a blast appearing on Good Morning America in NY this week with all the pros and celebs and we trained every day whilst we were there as Jana is still on tour we have to train when and where we can. If you like what you see, please vote for Jana and I this season on DWTS.
Here are Gleb’s last three three Viennese Waltzes with Lisa Vanderpump (DWTS Season 16), Anita Rani (SCD), and Adelina Sotnikova (DWTS Russia). Some of my favorite Viennese Waltzes ever…
This time Jana and Gleb will be dancing to “Dangerous Woman” by Ariana Grande. What a perfect song to go with his new sensual choreography….
Also, did you know Gleb has a new 2017 calendar? It’s available for pre-order and can be shipped to the US. See this link if interested. I have his 2016 Calendar. It’s one of my favorite pieces in my Dancing With The Stars Collection as this will be too.
Link to the calendar....
With that said, don’t forget to VOTE for Gleb and Jana Monday night. We think this is their phone number. We’ll know Monday for sure: 1-800-868-3406!
Thanks Gleb! We wish you and Jana all the best!!! xxx
