I remember this day as everyone else...however my oldest daughter was working in DC that day, she normally would have been at the pentagon but for some reason was not there...it was hours before we ever got in contact with her because all the phone lines were out...the other strange thing about this day is that it is also her wedding anniversary....

Well tomorrow is the big day...DWTS Season 23 Premier....
I am a bit sad however as it will be strange that there will be no Castle to watch after the show...
So lets see what the chatter is about this morning...

PureDWTS Exclusive Interview: Sasha Farber Is Ready To Hit The Dance Floor With Terra Jole
We had the honor and pleasure of interviewing Dancing With The Stars Sasha Farber this week. He answers some fun questions from our readers. As always, he does it in grand “Sasha Style” and form with any question presented to him!! Read on to see what we mean. Also, I can’t imagine what Sasha and Terra Jole have planned for us on Dancing With The Stars Season 23, but, watch out….I have a feeling “nothing is impossible” when it comes to these two. Don’t forget to VOTE for them on Monday night at 1-800-868-3412!! THANKS SASHA!!! You are a gem!!xx
Sarina:What’s your favorite/least favorite American food?
Working with dancers from all over the world, what is your favorite accent?
Now that you have been a dancing crab, will we be seeing some really crazy costumes on you dances this season? Any hints?
Sabrina: my favorite food is seafood! ))))) and my least favorite is nothing, I eat everything. 😉 My favorite accent is English, that’s Emma’s accent!!!!
Will definitely be pushing the boundaries in outfits this season!!!!
Chayse:
Is there anything you took away from your season with Kim that you think will help your partnership with Terra?
Is there a dance you are particularly looking forward to choreographing for Terra this season?
Chayse: Yes so much . Every season I feel like I learn so much! It’s all about having fun and making sure your partner shines and does her best. And yes I’m looking forward to choreographing all the dances.
Colleen:
Can you tell us something we don’t know about you yet?
One thing you don’t know about me is I love cooking. 🙂
KellyK:
How do you keep your positive and upbeat attitude day in and day out?
Kelly K: You always have to think positive no matter what. Smile and laugh, love life, and enjoy every second!
Narice:
Which dances do you think will pose the biggest challenge with Terra and how do you plan to work through those challenges?
Narice:
At the moment we are just figuring things out. Terra has inspired me on so many levels! Nothing is impossible with that girl. I’m so happy that I got her as my partner this season!!!
Cathy:
When Derek got injured in S20, you so graciously filled in as Nastia’s partner, and the 3 of you worked together for several weeks. What lessons did you learn from Derek that will help you throughout this season with Terra?Your gymnastics skills are amazing! In what way(s) have they helped you in the dance world? You have such an awesome sense of humor as you love to play pranks on fellow cast mates and frighten them! Where did you get your sense of humor from? Does it come naturally or is it something that you’ve had to work on and develop over the years?
Cathy:
Yes it was so much fun working with those two! Derek is one of the best pros if not the best on the season for sure, so I did learn a lot from him and the way that he teaches and always makes his partners stand out.I love gymnastics. I have never done it, but my dad taught me how to flip at home!!!!! I love flipping around. lol It always helps to do more then one style!I love pranks and making people laugh. I think laughter is the best medicine
Vogue:
Will you and Emma choreograph more routines for So You Think You Can Dance? I hope so because you and Emma were amazing with the kids this past season. Hope so we ran out of time as dwts started , but we loved working on so you think, and if we have time next season for sure we loved it!!!!!!!!!

EXCLUSIVE: 'Dancing With the Stars' Pro Lindsay Arnold Talks Married Life, Broadway and Bonding With Calvin Johnson
DWTS Lindsay Arnold Chats On Her Cha Cha With Calvin Johnson, Camera
Blocking Photo, And More
In a previous posting, Lindsay Arnold talked to Entertainment Tonight about how her Dancing With The Stars partner, Calvin Johnson, is going to surprise everyone. Entertainment Tonight posted another part of this interview where she talks on married life, doing Broadway, and bonding with her Calvin Johnson. Below she talks about their Cha Cha and what she is worried on a little. You can also view a camera blocking photo.
Arnold and Johnson are kicking off their first week on the DWTS stage with the cha-cha, but the blond beauty told ET she’s most excited to see the former Detroit Lines wide receiver impress the judges with a different style.
“We practiced a little bit of jive together and he LOVED it!” she exclaimed. “He was having so much fun, and loved how fast it was, which is so funny, because most people are like, ‘Oh, it’s fast? I don’t want to do it.’ He was like, ‘I love it, it’s so fun.'”
And although Arnold assured us Johnson is going to “surprise a lot of people” on Monday, Sept. 12, when the show premieres at 8 p.m. ET on ABC, she does have one worry — their height difference.
“It’s definitely not easy, it’s a challenge, but we’ll make it work,” she explained. “In order for him to reach me, it’s almost like he’ll have to drop his elbows a little bit. So I’m already looking into 4.5 inch ballroom heels, trying to find those and see if those are a real thing. If they are, I’m definitely going to wear those.”
