Hubby and I went with my daughter and SIL a week ago Sunday. It was not a bad movie...The ending wasn't how I wanted the story to end but...there were a lot of dancers at the end and I would not have known to even look for Paul in then...
I sure loved La La Land....even the ending.
And I am in awe of Emma Stone's talent. If you want to see an accomplished actress - watch her "act" the part of an actress auditioning for various acting roles!! Amazing.
I remember at the time of its release, Torrey Devitto tweeted congratulations and her pride at boyfriend's part in the movie. So Artem was in it. I tried to spot him, but didn't. And of course Mandy Moore did the choreography!!!
Hey View...I liked the movie and I liked the ending but not the one I would have liked...Didn't what yall to think I didn't like it...The movie was done well and the dancing and acting was great. I was looking for Artem too but I didn't see him either nor did I see Sharna's ex Paul Kirkland... I could watch this one again too...
I love Emma Stone and she is an accomplished actress...Mandy Moore did a wonderful job with the choreography too!!!
Anyone who has seen it will know what you mean about the ending, CEK. But I think I loved it because it was more like the complexities of real life. Choices - good and bad, disappointments, mountain top successes, the people who help make you who you end up being.
Let me recommend Martin Short's autobiography again, which I just finished ( in audio form...read by himself) It's one of those I'm sorry to be done with. "I Must Say...My Life as a Humble Comedy Legend"
I'm editing to say we have been driving long distances lately...visiting family here and there. And that is why an audio book has been so appreciated. Real reading - still plugging along with Grisham's latest, The Whistler.
Gotta run, sisters. Making hubby's favorite chocolate (realllllyyyy chocolate) cake.

Does anyone else feel personally victimized by the Chmerkovskiy family? They’re trying to actually kill me. 😍😍
