Gleb and his little girl...OMG...she strongly favors her daddy, doesn't she!
Yes she does. And, from what I've read about genetics, most (I didn't say ALL) little girls do. She was younger when this photo was taken, and I saw it on a tumblr site that featured just Gleb, his wife and daughter. His caption for this pic went something like, "Had the best Sunday with my baby girl."
My daughter definitely looks more like me than her dad, although she has many of his traits but the more subtle ones (feet, toes, complexion)...while my son favors his dad in pretty much the opposite characteristics from our daughter. Can't compare my daughter's kids with her since they are all adopted! I will say, tho, that her #1 daughter and our grandson (they are biological cousins/their mothers are 1st cousins) share many personality traits, although not really in their appearance.

Granddaughter stayed overnight with us last night. I let her stay up to watch the culmination of the Westminster Kennel Club Show. She was rooting so hard for Rumor, the gorgeous German Shepherd female, to win. (She is a German Shepherd lover - the K-9 cops have visited her school a couple of times with their GS and Belgian Malinois) Last year, Rumor was best in breed, best in the herding group, and a favorite in the Best in Show lineup...and then the announcement came, the winner is, the German Sh.....orthair Pointer !!
What?!
So Rumor retired...5 years old. And as I understand it, the owners/handlers only just a month ago decided to give her one more go at it since she was still in superb shape and health.
So the show went on too late for a school night, but was worth it to her. Best In Show: Rumor !!!
View I too was so happy to see Rumor the German Shepherd win Best In Show last night too...she is only the second to win in the history of the Westminster Kennel Club. I love German Shepherds they are beautiful dogs. I loved watching the K-9 train when my hubby was still working for the police department. They are smart and loving animals...
I loved that she won also....gorgeous dog!

Everyone is welcome to admire whom they think is the cutest, best, couple (Maks & Peta, Sasha & Emma and others), but these two are the ones that give me the most happiness just to see them together.
I am so happy to finally see them actually together in photographs and they look so happy together, they make a lovely couple.
They seem to look very content with each other. It's taken me a very long time to get used to that duo, but I think I'm getting there!! . I still don't think MnM were a showmance, tho.

Time to think of what's for dinner!! Hubby is hungry but I've been bunco-ing all afternoon, so I'm not that hungry. Will drag out the reruns.

If they weren't, she's lucky that Fedor stood by her and waited for her to come to her senses. JMO

. Obviously he is able to deal with long periods of time when she is away. That was something Maks could never do.
