I think you are right about Peta wanting to be back in LA and I can understand that dancing will help her get back into shape post-baby.  As for Maks and Val, you are right about not being able to believe it when they say what they are or aren't going to do especially when it comes to their dancing career...

Agree with you all. I think Maks just pops off without thinking. He was going to put that baby in a carrier that would strap to Maks' chest, facing him, and "Peta can just do whatever she wants." I'm curious about why he wanted the baby to be born in NY. That meant that Peta had to have a different doctor than the one she had been seeing. I think their return to DWTS is all about $$$$$$$$$$$. Of course, they ARE dancers (and not likely to enter another career field) so that is what they do!  Peta had better pump those breasts just before going onto the dance floor and make sure she is wearing thick breast pads while dancing. I'm surprised she is going to still be nursing while going back for season 24 but have to give her credit for it.  Did anyone notice how the furniture in the NJ house is different from the pieces he had during season 18? Those white Chesterfield sofas reminded me of Meryl's. His original furniture was red or maroon (and dark green)  trimmed in gold and the wood was dark and pretty ornate (as I recall). 
 

I agree, Annie....I suspect it is all about the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$.....and, why not?  Guess neither of them have anything else going.... .....to pay teh bills anyway.  I figure the 2 of them...if they stay a minimum amount of time....can gross about $300k for the season.   If they get to the later weeks, it's more, of course.  May need that to fund the wedding!!

Didn't Maks rent the house out for a couple years while he was acting in LA?  I imagine they had the place painted either after they arrived there in November or before they got there.  They had that consulatant do the nursery so maybe she helped with the overall redo??

I should think so. Not real practical with small children, but.....

Peta Murgatroyd and Maks Chmerkovksiy were on Good Morning America today. They had a special announcement for Dancing With The Stars Season 24. Guess what? They are both coming back as Pros. I find this hilarious!!!! Who said Maks was "never, never, never...no way...." coming back to DWTS in Season 24??!!!! Oh.....I THINK IT WAS MAKS!!!!!!!!😂😂😛. Further proof that he says contradictory things about as often as he changes.....well....underwear?! (That may not be the best metaphor, as I can think of for him, tho !! LOL. LOL). But this explains the nanny and the LA trip!!! I guess (grand)MamaC didn't want full custody for 3 months!! I'm sure they will take BabyC and nanny to the studio every day so we should get a plethora of photos!! . Paps will have a field day!

I'm wondering how the new producer and the competition with the show Derek is in, will pan out.  There must be pressure on ratings, which is when we are likely to see attention-grabbing stunts.  .  Has Derek's show started already?
