What a contradiction these two are!!! LOL. Of course, I think that together they can make a minimum of about $300k for 3 months work, so that isn't too shabby!! I'd like to have that sort of income for the whole year.....or even half of it!!! LOL
I am beginning to realize (took long enough!) that you can't bank on anything Maks or Val says because they contradict themselves literally from one minute to the next sometimes!! LOL. I will say, I think Peta may really miss LA since this is really her "American" home. I remember a tweet in December where she said she thot she could never get used to a white Christmas.
I wonder if Val will be bunking with them....and the nanny?!!! LOL
I think you are right about Peta wanting to be back in LA and I can understand that dancing will help her get back into shape post-baby. As for Maks and Val, you are right about not being able to believe it when they say what they are or aren't going to do especially when it comes to their dancing career...
I was wondering about where Val will be living now and is that their personal all the time Nanny???Agree with you all. I think Maks just pops off without thinking. He was going to put that baby in a carrier that would strap to Maks' chest, facing him, and "Peta can just do whatever she wants." I'm curious about why he wanted the baby to be born in NY. That meant that Peta had to have a different doctor than the one she had been seeing. I think their return to DWTS is all about $$$$$$$$$$$. Of course, they ARE dancers (and not likely to enter another career field) so that is what they do! Peta had better pump those breasts just before going onto the dance floor and make sure she is wearing thick breast pads while dancing. I'm surprised she is going to still be nursing while going back for season 24 but have to give her credit for it. Did anyone notice how the furniture in the NJ house is different from the pieces he had during season 18? Those white Chesterfield sofas reminded me of Meryl's. His original furniture was red or maroon (and dark green) trimmed in gold and the wood was dark and pretty ornate (as I recall).
That wedding they are planning with hundreds of guests and 3-day celebrations will cost a packet. Probably not even they have those amounts readily available. So, yes, it's about $$ for sure. And who knows what the show's future looks like with Derek's gig. Are we sure that keeping Shai under wraps was (only...) motivated by concern for him (I am not....). Or perhaps there was an element of angling for maximum exposure, too. GMA beats a newspaper article any day, I would think. In any case,

Having to finish my own thoughts, *lol*. Wondering, if they could manage to break even or make a profit out of their wedding via product/service endorsements and a media deal. Hmmmm... You'd have to be an A- or B-lister, to be in such demand, perhaps.

I agree, Annie....I suspect it is all about the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$.....and, why not? Guess neither of them have anything else going....

.....to pay teh bills anyway. I figure the 2 of them...if they stay a minimum amount of time....can gross about $300k for the season. If they get to the later weeks, it's more, of course. May need that to fund the wedding!!
Didn't Maks rent the house out for a couple years while he was acting in LA? I imagine they had the place painted either after they arrived there in November or before they got there. They had that consulatant do the nursery so maybe she helped with the overall redo??
I wonder if Maks takes a salary from the dance studios and how they split the ownership with Maks, Val, Tony and Papa C and wasn't Nicole's mom also a partner in them???

I wonder if the change in furniture to the house in NJ was Peta's doing??? I mean the nursery was done in shades of white too???
I should think so. Not real practical with small children, but.....
Nope not at all...we had an light tan carpet in out bedroom when my daughter was little and it had been down less than a week and she got purple eye shadow (she loved makeup and still does) on it and it never came out even with professional cleaning...my son got red Koolaid on the den carpet and it was there until we had it replaced so white and off white or anything close is not good for children or pets and some husbands!!! LOL

VIEW MASTER
Anyone remember these? I guess they still make and sell them. I liked this as a child - had lots or reels.
We still have one of them from my little guy's therapies.
The ABA (applied behaviour analysis) therapists a few years back used them as rewards in their table top sessions. Apparently kids on the autism spectrum respond well. They are still easy to come by, but perhaps in most instances aren't the original 'View-master'.
Interesting....I've seen them in thrift stores and also in some preschools or elementary schools. Probably donated by a parent.
There use to be a company that would take your personal photographs and put them on wheels for the View Master...
and here is the link to it....I just may have to look into this...what a great gift for your children or grandchildren...

I find this hilarious!!!! Who said Maks was "never, never, never...no way...." coming back to DWTS in Season 24??!!!! Oh.....I THINK IT WAS MAKS!!!!!!!!😂😂😛. Further proof that he says contradictory things about as often as he changes.....well....underwear?! (That may not be the best metaphor, as I can think of for him, tho![]()
!! LOL. LOL). But this explains the nanny and the LA trip!!! I guess (grand)MamaC didn't want full custody for 3 months!! I'm sure they will take BabyC and nanny to the studio every day so we should get a plethora of photos!!

. Paps will have a field day!
I'm wondering how the new producer and the competition with the show Derek is in, will pan out. There must be pressure on ratings, which is when we are likely to see attention-grabbing stunts.
. Has Derek's show started already?
IDK, but maybe someone else does?
It says on the site "coming this spring to NBC" Here is a link ...

I know she does...She is in for a huge surprise at how tired you can be as a parent...and with a nanny she should be in pretty good shape I would think!!! There were times I wished I had a nanny and a maid too...LOL
