    I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer.     Now an interesting true "camouflage" story.  We have a long-time friend who is in his mid-80's now.  He was raised in a small town called Doris in north central California on the Oregon border.  As a kid, during WWII, he and his mother lived on top of a mountain in a lookout tower because she had a job looking for forest fires up there during the summers.  At that time US Army soldiers in camouflage uniforms used the forested land below for training maneuvers   Our friend, a young boy of about 10, took a turn looking thru his mother's binoculars and told her he saw soldiers moving around down there.  In disbelief, she took the glasses and did not see any soldiers or movement.  Turned out her son was red/green color blind which allowed him to actually see what was going on down there!!!  LOL LOL.     Spotted the panda (he was easy!)...but I didn't see the bird int he one above.

    Truly, when we fly, I often book the aisle and the window seat with the hope that if the flight isn't full, the middle seat will be empty.  Very often that works!!  I would say over 50% of the time we get lucky!!!  LOL
