Thankyou, KOS, my sister by similar postal code. I've picked up 'The Longest Ride' DVD from our local library today, which I had ordered when you recommended it. I suggested to my youngest to watch it together. He wasn't keen and then neither was I on him seeing it, once I saw that it has 'Mature themes and sex scenes'. Oooops and phew.... Leaving it for after hours now.Sorry about that. It's a Nicholas Sparks movie based on his book of the same name. And all his books are romances. I am not a fan of sex scenes, but the ones in this movie are relatively tame. You will like the mature themes in this movie, and they are not about sex. The predominant theme, as expressed by the Alan Alda character, is this: "Love requires sacrifice, always."
I think I will check this one out myself. Sounds good. And I had thought to myself earlier....Nicholas Sparks?...PG-13? How bad can it be. But of course different audiences require different due diligence from the parents.
Love you two as NEIGHBORS! Would that it were so...we would all congregate in the middle of the country for a Party.
No probs, KOS. I was half joking... my bad. The movie is even M-rated here, for mature audiences. We must be extra prude. *lol*

Alrighty then...Looks like that is about it for now...So with that I am off to "real life" for now...
Have a wonderful day everyone...HUGS
Oh View...how is Rio doing????Rio is super. Calm, attentive, knows just exactly what is expected of him here at our house. Eating well. Goes potty the same place always in the back yard - - through the chain link fence on to the neighbor's tree!
I got him micro-chipped yesterday. Figured out who the breeder in Colorado must be, and emailed her. She called me yesterday and we cleared up some questions I had. His age is actually 2 years old last month. So he has his goofy teen-ager moments too.
Lots of this going on in the back yard whenever the g'daughter stops by:
View he looks like a "good boy"...so glad he is doing well and has adjusted so well to his new home!!!

I thought long and hard whether to post this or not for all the negativity he said on Nancy Kerrigan. *so disappointing* And please NO to Louis being a “Guest Judge”.

Nancy Kerrigan And Normani Kordei Blog On Dancing With The Stars Week 7
Dancing With The Stars has taught Normani Kordei to love her self after being bullied on Social Media. She writes even more below for how the show is helping her…
The biggest challenge for me so far was opening up. I wanted to walk in knowing that I’d be a different person walking out. The show has just taught me to love myself and open up and know that people can also look at you with kind hearts. I think that I’m so used to being judged. Me being a public figure, especially being a woman, people try to tear you down. I was bullied on social media a lot, so I’m very reserved and closed off, and I’m kind of scared to let them in because I don’t know how I’ll be accepted or if I’ll even be accepted so I think that’s what I’ve had to overcome.
More at Hollywood Life.
Normani Kordei: ‘DWTS’ Has Taught Me To Love Myself After Being Bullied On Social Media
Also, Nancy Kerrigan has written a new blog at Team USA on her elimination. She was proud of her effort despite being eliminated and can’t wait for the finals. Be sure to read the link for lots more.
Loved our tango and thought our scores were strong. Wasn’t crazy about going up against Simone (Biles) in the dance-off. Gave it my best shot, though, but fell a little short.
Then came the news that we weren’t advancing. Can’t lie…that was tough to take, but if I step back far enough I realize that this was a great experience. I didn’t go on this show for any reason other than I thought it would be fun…and it was. But it was so much more. I am proud of my effort. I was surprised but honored that the show created a platform of sorts for me to talk about so many different issues: motherhood, parenting, miscarriages, eating disorders, competition, competitive spirit and more.
The reaction from people was overwhelming, and I am so moved by the fact that I just may have helped many people across the country by being willing to open up and let people in to parts of my life I haven’t spoken about much in the past. While it may not seem that way as I drive to the airport to fly to New York for “Good Morning America” and “LIVE with Kelly and Ryan,” I know that I will take that with me for the rest of my life.
And I am reminded that I will go back and dance in the finale, so I will be back here on TeamUSA.org in a few weeks for my final comments and thank you’s because I couldn’t have done this without the help of a lot of people. Hope you’ll come back to share those thoughts.
