Hey, you 15 "guests" viewing the board....
Introduce yourself, say howdy.I second that. Come forward and be welcomed. Plenty of chairs around the table on the ship with no name.
Hear, hear.....come join our ship with no name!! We havent' named it Titanic, so the deck chairs should be safe!! LOL

I can't stay on board just now....Hope to stop back late this morning. There are quite a few interesting posts I'd like to agree with or add to.
And of course I suppose we should get our chart guesses in today....picking slips of paper out of a hat is my preferred strategy this week.
I think that I'm using the names out of the hat method as well this week, View!!! LOL. As soon as I can jot down the names and draw them out of the hat, I'll let Luv know how they came out!! LOL

Glad a great time was had at the prom, April.
I think you need to pick best score for trio and best score for individual dance, rather than highest combined total.... ??

Yes, you pick who you think will have the best individual dance, who you think will have the highest trio dance and who will be going home. Chance of earning 3 points. Of course, any combination could win......so get those darts out. LOL

The way I read her post, April and Niecey both picked 3.
And about Niecey being out of the hospital, and the prom, and friends, and family...

Changing my avatar. Everyday when I log in it will remind me that I want to get back to my art... painting, sculpting...instead of practical outlet for creativity, that is cooking, baking, home decor, and other things of that nature.
Most likely this will take place in Arizona during the winter getaways. There are some wonderful classes available by very accomplished artists and teachers.
My former "new beginnings" avatar had to do with being pet-less. And embracing that new, free-er of responsibility status. LOL THAT DID NOT LAST LONG did it. I found it kind of boring.
View I meant to say to you earlier when I read your post....I didn't know you were an "artist" too...did you study art in school or just learn as you go??? It is funny that you mention that you wanted to return to your "creative" outlet of art as I have just been thinking of the same thing...I always felt so relaxed when I painted or drew. I actually love to draw with colored pencils the best...I have never done sculpting but have admired those that do. One of my favorite artist is Charles Wysocki. I took several classes where we used things from his works to create a 4 Seasons type pattern and I put mine on a 4 sided lamp...
Here is a bit about him and some of his work...
Charles M. Wysocki, Jr. was an American painter, whose works depict a stylized version of American life of yesteryear. While some of his works show horseless carriages, most depict the horse and buggy era.Born: November 16, 1928, Detroit, MIDied: July 29, 2002, Joshua Tree, CANationality: AmericanSiblings: Harry WysockiParents: Mary K. This is a favorite of mine...he has a whole series of Cats....
Oh, CEK....I LOVE those too!! That is my genre....and some of these (or others very much like them) I've seen as jigsaw puzzles and stitchery kits. I am always drawn to them in catalogs! I think I was born about 100 years too late....well.....maybe 50??? LOL
Reminds me of Grandma Moses' work.
