Carrie how was you first day back, and is this just teachers right now going back??? I know my son goes back Monday and classes start September 2 (high school) but my daugher actually starts teaching (college) on Monday.

Oh cassidy that can of worms is a bucket...we have been working on a bathroom (remodel) for the past 4 years...It is gutted right now and I am using it basically for storage (which is great) however hubby wants to start doing some work to get it finished, as we have a tub sitting in a room in the front of the house (it is a cast iorn tub and it is heavy) but, hubby is not a carpenter but tries and we usually  have to get someone to complete the work.  We have to get someone to do the tile and plaster and then we will have to paint and put up the trim...So I am cleaing out closets to put the stuff that is in the gutted bathroom...but I am making progress and actually getting things that I will not use or can not wear (da*n menopaue) and donating it to the Disable Vets here where I live....I washed a lot of fall and winter things that had been packed up to hang...Housework 

Six Degrees of Separation, again......................always an unfinished project around here, lol!!  My husband never hammered a nail into a wall in his life.  I, on the other hand, have no brothers.  Dad taught my sisters and me everything!!  I have painted, wallpapered, tiled a floor, the list is endless!!  When my kids were small, my husband used to take them to the beach while Dad and I did projects in the house!!  I miss my Dad, sometimes when I'm working on a project now, I look up to heaven and I can hear him telling me "you got it, kid!" Awww....I'm getting sentimental now, sorry!! xoxoxoxo

 
I had 2 brothers and a sister but my dad did the same with all 4 of us!!  Wanted to be sure we were self-sufficient.

When I come back in another life, I plan to be much less capable because being able to do "everything" (or that is what some assume!), I end up with DOING everything!!!  LOL

So thanks to both our dads for that burden of responsibility!!!  LOL  xx oo

That is me too......I love to read....I can't even stay on task with a good book, keep jumping up to do something else.  Hence, nothing gets done....I am blaming mine on menopause....lol
