Hi Carrie......love that puppy!

Hi Gunner...glad to see you back posting :o) we missed you!!!! How are you?

Carrie how was you first day back, and is this just teachers right now going back??? I know my son goes back Monday and classes start September 2 (high school) but my daugher actually starts teaching (college) on Monday.

HI CEK - it was OK.  Definitely would rather be home here posting.  It is just teachers right now.  Students start next week.  We have 4 days with the kids and then have off Friday and Monday for Labor Day.

D:  You should have met me in 1864.  You would have liked me.
E:  I like you now.  Just the way you are.

At the bottom it makes some interesting assumptions. Wonder what the source is or if there is one!!! Won't dance on TV with anyone but Meryl. Hmmmm...... "be together for years to come"---let's hope--all from the interview in Seattle?? Maybe some creative license but who knows!

Well, if they're just going to make stuff up, I'd rather it be stuff like this than stories about CFO.

Right on, tango!!!  Good thinking!!!!

I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer. That is my problem these days...I think I am ADD cause I don't stay on track...I have about 5 things I am trying to do and nothing is getting done...I bounce around like a ball in a pinball game....lol

That is me too......I love to read....I can't even stay on task with a good book, keep jumping up to do something else.  Hence, nothing gets done....I am blaming mine on menopause....lol

I was actually fine until that happene (menopause) It took my brain, turned me grey and I gained 20 pounds...

Same here.......but, I color the hair....and maybe a bit more than 20 pounds!!

Yes, Cassidy; that is such a logical thought!! AND, if you noticed, Janna flew out of LAX. So they could have met up and taken the same flight--with or without Maks. You just have to wonder how that would go down at the show since there have been so many questions about Meryl. Of course, it would be nice for her to be there with Maks to thank the fans as well. So there is always hope!! We shall wait and see--with baited breath! LOL

It is almost too perfect......and they could do the ice bucket challenge together!  I. CAN'T. xoxoxoxo

lolol she did say stay tuned.....they could be doing the love ice bucket challenge lol

LOL...he would have to get on his knees for her to be able to reach to pour it on him!!!LOL  brings to mind the rumba hug but with meryl pouring ice water on him!!!LOL

Oh cassidy that can of worms is a bucket...we have been working on a bathroom (remodel) for the past 4 years...It is gutted right now and I am using it basically for storage (which is great) however hubby wants to start doing some work to get it finished, as we have a tub sitting in a room in the front of the house (it is a cast iorn tub and it is heavy) but, hubby is not a carpenter but tries and we usually  have to get someone to complete the work.  We have to get someone to do the tile and plaster and then we will have to paint and put up the trim...So I am cleaing out closets to put the stuff that is in the gutted bathroom...but I am making progress and actually getting things that I will not use or can not wear (da*n menopaue) and donating it to the Disable Vets here where I live....I washed a lot of fall and winter things that had been packed up to hang...Housework

Six Degrees of Separation, again......................always an unfinished project around here, lol!!  My husband never hammered a nail into a wall in his life.  I, on the other hand, have no brothers.  Dad taught my sisters and me everything!!  I have painted, wallpapered, tiled a floor, the list is endless!!  When my kids were small, my husband used to take them to the beach while Dad and I did projects in the house!!  I miss my Dad, sometimes when I'm working on a project now, I look up to heaven and I can hear him telling me "you got it, kid!" Awww....I'm getting sentimental now, sorry!! xoxoxoxo

LOL,  my parents were divorced so my mother and I do everything, just like you.  A couple of summers ago, we put in a whole new shower and put in floor braces.  Last summer, I put in a water heater and put up a fence.  I love being able to do a lot of the work myself (with help of course), but it saves on money and give you a sense of accomplishment.  Put up a metal building this summer. LOL

I am impressed!!!  You go, girl!!

Re: Don't worry, be happy!

Just had a thought!  Can you imagine how hard it would be to be Maks' mother-in-law?   OMG!

"Carpe fucking diem!"  - Maks said it.
Sorry, I had to use this.  I haven't laughed so much in a long time.

Friendship is a priceless gift that can't be bought or sold, its value is far greater than a mountain made of gold.
May this FriendSHIP always have wind in its sails and a sunrise on the horizon.
