Well before I head to bed I want to give you my review of the "Dirty Dancing" Remake....
I watched the whole thing and I must say that it can't hold a candle to the original...I didn't like Abigail Breslin as Baby...Colt Prattes wasn't bad but he really can't dance I don't think. I liked Nicole Scherzinger as Penny. Debra Messing as Marjorie Houseman was really good (I like her anyway) and Katey Segal as Vivian Pressman was good too. Bruck Greenwood was an OK Dr. Houseman and Sarah Hyland as Lisa Houseman was good too. Billy D Williams was Tito and I like Billy D!!!
The story line was a bit off as they played into the no so good relationship of Dr and Mrs Houseman which was no where in the original, but it was similar to the original. The last dance scene was not the same and their dancing was to me "bad"....Then they added a scene at the end that brought them several years ahead and Johnny is working on Broadway and Baby is married with a daughter and she goes to see one of his shows...(won't say much more to spoil it for you if you recorded it and haven't watched it)...Throughout the whole movie I just had the awkward feeling watching it.
So it is my opinion to "leave well enough alone"...don't mess with a good thing!!!!

Happy Thursday Sisters...
Just a quick stop in this morning due to the fact that when I got up this morning my kitchen and laundry room had been invaded by lovely little ants....
I guess all the rain has washed them to higher ground or something cause it has rained here and we are expecting more...
So needless to say I am in the process of getting them gone and disinfecting my kitchen to kill their trail....
I will be back when I have completed my mission....wish me luck!!!!

'Morning, Luv. I am going to pm you my number between 1 and 25.
CEK....I, too, have had ants in the kitchen this year. Not a lot, for a while I may have seen 3 or 4 per day and killed them.
I looked on line for perhaps a home remedy type thing...I also called an exterminator to get some information. There is a man on youtube who is know for his "make your own" insecticides and fertilizers etc. But even he stated "there is no home made solution that works for ants...I've tried the borax" And so his recommendation was the 3rd - for Terro Ant Killer for Inside Use.
Worked like a charm over a period of about 5 days. "Timed" so that they take it back to the community of ants. Good Luck.
