Did anyone watch Derek's new show? I didn't.
But the couple of mentions (reviews, ratings) of it that I've seen were very favorable.
I sort of watch it. LOL The TV was still on from AGT, so I kind of glanced up and down while playing on my Ipad. They have all kinds of dancers (and types of dance) from around the world, groups, couples, singles. They average the total points given by each judge. If the total is above 80 you move on to the next round. Winner will will 1 million dollars. I can't say I was impressed by the show. It kind of seemed boring, I am not even sure I finished the whole show. LOL I am surprised that they had such a good rating, but I am sure that will not last. It is not something I would watch or would even look forwarding to watch. I think it will get "old" fast and may not make it to a second season. IMO
ETA:......The dancers were fantastic in the dances that they performed in. I think it is just how the show was put together and not knowing or having any "connection" to any other the performers that make this "not the show for me" type of thing. LOL

tinypics works today.
whoo hoo.......will have to check that out.
ETA: Still having issues with them. It may be because my computer updated and is somehow blocking images to upload. Not sure if this is possible, but I didn't have any issues before the update.....

Afternoon Sisters...Hope everyone is doing well today.
Busy morning here for me today..I have been trying to get things done early in the morning to avoid the afternoon thunderstorms and power outages that we seem to have on a frequent basis...It was and is really nice here today only in the low 80's with a good little breeze and NO humidity and NO rain in sight for today...Thank goodness cause my yard is like a sponge...
So I will catch up and then check the news of the day...Hopefully since I am late it will be more than the past couple days.

I will agree with Luv that the dancers that were on there were really good, but I too can see it becoming repetitive and in a way boring for me at least..there was a young junior couple that did "ballroom" together for about 10 years and they were good and then a young contemporary dancers that was good. I am not into the other "group" style dancing but was sad the "cloggers" were voted off...I am not sure that it is something that I would continue to watch as most of the dance style were not of my taste...but it is nothing like dancing with the stars. I actually don't see how it could go on for many years in this format but it is television....I will stick with DWTS I may watch the Junior version if they are like the young couple that was on this show last night. I can take the older ones not the little ones.

Dancing with the Stars dancer Emma Slater won the latest season of the hit ABC show. She revealed that she uses Dancing with the Stars Self Tanner to get a bronze look for the show. The product line is made by a company named Norvell. Norvell launched its DWTS line in Fall 2014. The deal also made them the official self tanner of Dancing with the Stars.
The tanner features Vio-7 which the company says helps neutralize any orange tinge. Norwell calls it an "anti-orange formula." It is a blend of bronzer pigments.
It seems logical that a dancer from the show would use the product line named after the show. She says it helps her avoid looking orange. Slater says, "As a professional dancer, who wears revealing costumes, I have tried it all. Finally, I found something that neutralizes the dreaded orange! Dancing with the Stars Self Tanner with Vio-7."
