    I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer.     I know not for acting got it for Directing Ordinary People in 1981..but he acted in some good films....Butch Cassidy, They Way We Were, The Great Gatbsy, Out of Africa, Barefoot in the Park...

    Hi, April. Taking notes!!! Need to have buckets of ice water outside the door of the lab so we can take our exam on Friday without passing out!! LOL

    And, remember that exam is just the end of the summer semester. The fall semester begins on the 25th, so be thinking of what course you want to take. I think we should all be in the same one, so may have to vote on it.

    I know I went off and married a man I hadn't known for very long, who spoke another language, who came from another world.   My very quiet, Midwestern parents who only ever ventured out of the Midwest to visit me on my study abroad, were probably very concerned.   But all they ever said to me was "You're 3x7."   (I was 25).      They knew, as I'm sure that Meryl's family knows, that it has to be her decision for any of it to work.  

    But I'm also sure that they have been even more impressed with Maks that we have.   And not just because he is mind-bogglingly beautiful.   I never believed the DWTS bad boy stuff.   He is close to so many of his past partners, to Karina & Kate & Erin whom he dated, to all the members of the fam and his students.   I always liked the fact that he defended his partners and spoke up when the judges were penalizing his partner for something he did.   I think he is really an old-fashioned gentleman, remarkably unspoiled by the effect his physical presence has on women, and quite aware of the effect he can have on men and women.   Just as Meryl disarmed him with ther quiet presence, I think he disarmed her with his honesty and intelligence and humor and consideration that had nothing to do with how he looked.   Nurturing, I mean really?   How many of us could have seen that coming?

    I've got to get back to work!  But it always makes a pleasant break to talk about M&M.

    Totally agree with you, Tango. Great observation and insight! Are you in the Maksology class; if so, you will make an "A+". 
     

    I am certainly in the Maksology class.  (I'll leave Valology to others.)  Do you think I could be the teacher's aide?   I'd really like to be the teacher's pet.
