April, does it have to do with immune suppressants because of the transplant?  Is it related to that?

they are not sure....they think it could have had some thing to do with the transplant but then my cousin's daughter had a similar auto-immune flair up several years ago (she was 7) to the point she almost died and they never figured out what it was in her either and she didn't have any other health problems at the time...so they are not sure if it is transplant related or not

Could it be something related to hereditary?

That is a good questions Luv...

April...do they think the pneumonia triggered this auto-immune problem...

Ah, it is. It's the first day of autumn! A time for hot chocolatety mornings, and toasting marshmallow evenings, as best of all, leaping into *leaves*!

at this point they really don't know.....they said what confuses them is if it was hereditary Niecey's transplant should have fixed it....so not sure if the 2 girls reactions were just coincidence or not

It sounds like the team of Doctors are on top of trying to find out what is wrong.

I pray for answers.

Maybe, it is something that is not related to the transplant or cancer.  Are they testing her for anything hereditary issues?

I wonder if something with the pneumonia maybe the fungal type was a trigger.
