Ah, it is. It's the first day of autumn! A time for hot chocolatety mornings, and toasting marshmallow evenings, as best of all, leaping into *leaves*!

Re: In Memorium: A Celebration of Niecey

I'm so sorry that I couldn't get here earlier today, but I have just read much of the thread.   In the midst of or sorrow and heartache for April, you all seem to recaptured the spirit of the early days when we were all sharing our craziness.   What better tribute to both April and Niecey.

I am sharing this song, which is neither Beatles or drum lines, but it is an inspirational anthem written and performed by one of my favorite singers and a friend.

"Carpe fucking diem!"  - Maks said it.
Sorry, I had to use this.  I haven't laughed so much in a long time.

Niecey was a great friend...which is why she had great friends.

We know Annie would have been a part of the celebration is she could.

This is great, tango.  Love it!  And the story behind his writing of it is so meaningful.

Wonder if Booky is on vacation.   I would also love to hear from Tennessee Girl.   But this day has been amazing.

Hi Tango, a hearty amen to this song and the meaning behind it.

I agree with Vmmm...this has been a wonderful way to celebrate Niecey's and the way she lived and I do hope that in time when April reads our post it will make her smile.
