So, I don't know at least half of the stars this season, but Jordan and Lindsay are going to kill it. They probably won't win because the Disney stars never do--but they will probably be the best dancers.

I would appreciate it if you would all say a prayer for my two older girls. They are taking their black belt test tonight and tomorrow. Tonight especially is going to be very intense physically and emotionally. I have told them both to carry niecey with them on their journey. I'm very proud of them, but I'm definitely nervous about tonight, especially.

April--I'm praying for you. Please stay safe! Although I told the girls to carry niecey with them on their black belt test I told them that she might be too busy looking out for her family in Florida. Hugs.

Thinking of all in harm's way - and destruction's path today.
And special prayers for vmmmom's girls.

Thanks.....after a long day yesterday we are evacuated.....we live very close to a large lake so had to evacuate and were going to stay at my cousins ....but after having just lost niecey my hubby wanted my son and I to leave our area completely.....he has to stay to work the hurricane, so can't come with us, but said he just needed to know we were in a safe place...so my son and I are in Jax and staying at my nieces house with other evacuated family members and friends....luckily having lived here all my life I know the back ways to go so we didn't get caught in the horrible traffic on the interstate.....it should only be a cat 1 here so we should be ok....our house will prob be on the east side of the storm which is generally the stronger side but they now think it will be high cat 2 or maybe low 3 which is much better than predictions last night of high cat 3 to cat 4...so a little good news ...we will be following progress closely and I'll keep you all updated as much as I can (((Hugs)))

Glad to know you and your son are in a safe place, April. After seeing what Harvey did to Texas, I am so concerned about Florida and everyone in the path of this storm. It was very concerning to see the news reports about so many people trying to get a flight out of Florida. My thoughts and prayers are with you all...praying that any damage to the state will be minimal, and above all, that there are no fatalities.
Oh, and CEK, I seem to remember reading that your mother-in-law lives in Florida? If so, I hope she too found a safe place to stay if she was in an evacuation zone.
I stumbled across an article about something I had never thought about, but it's something she should all be mindful of if we plan to leave town for a few days.
