I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship. Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer. Meryl

Can't wait for Friday....I have made no plans and just have nice relaxing evening. I have xc in the morning and then I"ll probably do last minute school stuff....I want to go grocery shopping so I am stocked up for the start of school, and I want to do laundry and I want to post.

See....you know, maybe that is what Meryl wants. Maybe she wants to stay in her hometown with her friends, family, and skating world. Nothing wrong with that....I did it. As much as she says she wants to live in NYC and Italy, when push comes to shove, would she leave Charlie, her mom, skating, etc. and do it for Maks or herself? I would love to live in NYC, but I wouldn't do it cause I don't want to leave my life behind.
Meryl might not take the step.....will Maks for her? If they want to be with each other that then one of them will make the sacrifice....if not, then they don't want it enough and it wasn't meant to be.
You are absolutely right, Carrie. We shall have to wait and see.....won't we? I doubt Maks can find much work in DWT so she would have to be the one to make the "sacrifice".
But then, you have girls like my best high school GF who wouldn't marry her H.S. sweetheart because she knew he would come home after college and go to work with his father. She would tell me that she wanted to live someplace more exciting. So, she met a guy from Algeria, married him, and has had a fabulous life with him. Boy, were her parents upset -- at first. Anyway, they have four daughters and have lived in Algeria, Tunisia, Innsbruck, Abu Dabi(sp?), but mostly Paris, their favorite city in the world. They both speak French fluently, so that helps a lot. They are in Paris right now where they took a granddaughter for her H.S. graduation present. If their four daughters didn't live in the states, they would be living permanently in Paris. So, you have all kinds of people doing things their way. I, myself, would probably like living closer to home, but when she came home once a year with her kids, she would stay at least 2 months.

Carrie I think I am thinking like you on this one....We know how Maks feels about Meryl, but we only think that she feels the same way now...apparently there was something there during the time they were on DWTS but BOTH decided not to act on it an ruin what they had...They said that...so is what they had gone for both of them or just Meryl, I can't believe it is completely gone with Maks he is to taken by her...and if the feeling was so strong during the season that they could no act on it why wouldn't you now...what is holding her back, and I think it is a bit more Mery than Maks...now I could be wrong but from what I see....AND why if there was nothing there would her parents and friends go to SWAY??? AND why would her mom like a pic of Maks doing the "bump and grind" on IG????
I ask them WHY?????
Could the whole media/social media rainstorm over the Jlo rumors made her cautious of the media...
Could her relationships with the Olympics, SOI, and the companines she and Charlie sponsor be puttng damper on her personal life....
There are to many what ifs in this relationship to even know...

The pics are at first glance "well what the he$$ is he thinking" and yes he is 34 and a grown man, a goodlooking, sexy, european with an accent...*is it hot in here*
He is on the catamaran with the BWAT dancers, and I am sure if need be he could find some other females to be on a catamaran with, but he is with them...
All these dancers are like family, they travel, work, go out, and are together for days and weeks at a time...some are married, some have boy and girlfriends..
And they are in Hawaii...
So am I being odd to feel like there is nothing odd about this...

actually i agree with you...and after seeing the other pics i think it's no big deal...and like you said he is HOT and could have picked up any number of fans to party with but he is only with the ones he considers family....that does say something....i admit at first when the first pic came out i was like uh..oh...but thinking about it more i think like you it's a possitive he is only with them ...and even though he seems to be having fun with them....none of those smiles in those pics are "MERYL" smiles!!!
