it's ok Annie just hold our hands...this is the first time i've shipped anyone too...LOL...i didn't even know what the word meant until my daughter told me i was one!!LOL...i think we just can't take it too seriously ...and like carrie said no matter what happens with them they did bring us each other!!

I agree with you on the age thing. Behavior should be commensurate but when you are single at that age, these days, I see many socially immature people in their mid-30s--sadly. Until you settle, you don't have a need to "act" appropriately! Not saying that is justification for being childish, it is just one reason why it too often occurs.

Yep! And some men never grow up! Hello, Peter Pan? In my (admittedly dinosaur) day, After a guy finished college or job training, served time in the armed forces, and then got a job, he was ready to get married. Why? He would never have admitted this (or maybe not been aware this was the reason), but it was so that he and his girlfriend (fiancee) could have sex! Yes, ladies and gentlemen -- SEX. Nowadays, women have made it so easy for them that they don't have to get married for any reason. Not married? -- that's O.K. Just live and travel together as if you are! Not judging anyone, just pointing out the reason things are the way they are now.  Yes, some unmarried people in my day were having sex -- usually with someone they had been dating a year or two and planning to marry when the time was right. If the girl got pregnant, they got married as soon as they knew, and, believe it or not, some of these marriages were happy and lasted forever. That's my rant, for now.
 

 
Right on, Annie--those are pretty much my days as well.  One thing in particular stuck out: "served time in the armed forces".  I have always believed that service made a boy into a man and we are poorer as a nation now that we are an all volunteer service.  NOT good--especially with so many young men who didn't have dads in the home.  Military service does more than just provide the country with a defense force.
