I am sure Danica had it all set up and had the photographers there--whoever they might have been.
and we have that tweet from meryl to sharna several days ago that said see you soon....hmmmm....so see her in Hawaii or LA or both??????

Thanks April. I had a very hard time with them, was about to give up, and suddenly poof, there they were...........my kitchen is a mess, but it was worth it. LOL

Thanks. I may not try another one so difficult though for awhile. I took me quite awhile to get the frosting just right. LOL and then I had too much trouble bringing it to our ship.......almost didn't make it.
Well, we are glad for your persistence!! 
I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship. Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer. Meryl

Me too. It did kind of look like her to me and there really has to be a good reason why she is in LA. She would not fly there just for a Ice Bucket Challenge.
esp when she could have done it with charlie and the shibs

Probably not LA--but maybe in Sun Valley if they premier the new ice dance this weekend? That was my initial thought; but now I think it might could have referred to HI.

Just logging in to add my 2 cents worth.
I tried blowing up the picture in photoshop. Without the original hi-res image, which is compressed to post it on-line, you can't tell. When I blew it up large enough to tell, it was so pixelated that you could see anything. However, how many people do we know who have long dark hair that they wear like that? Right body type, hair, wave...that's enough for me.
The ship has righted itself thanks to M&M themselves. Tweeting, liking tweets, smiles...I bet Maks spent more than one day in Michigan...that was why he left Seattle by himself...to meet up with Meryl to fly together to Hawaii. I sure bet it was her taking the pic of Maks and the ladies. I wonder if they got their own private pic of the two of them in a similar pose. He posted it because it was all right with her...like when he asked her on Kelly & Michael if he could take off his shirt. Just like she's probably having fun finding ways to hid the ring...I bet they were having fun taking a variety of pix without Meryl in them, although I'm sure there were plenty where she was.
Actually, I just looked on Maks' twitter, and this is the video taken by Val. You can hear him and see him taking it in the other video that was posted. In this one, it's even clearer that Sharna says "Meryl" and then she's waving.
