Hi Annie - can you refresh my memory?  I've been scrolling so fast through posts jus so I can have a basic idea of what people are talking about.  I've been seeing people post songs...what are we posting songs about?

 Well, we WERE going to have a party tonight -- can't remember why -- even though I warned everyone that there is a final exam tomorrow at 10:00am for our end of semester Maksology class. So, I have been gathering song titles for our party music. We'll probably have to postpone the party until tomorrow night or maybe even Saturday. They should be love songs that Meryl and Maks would "sing" to each other, and you can submit as many as you want. Oh, and tell me what singer you prefer for each song.

Still think she was in HI--in the green bikini waving. Gunner, I went back to the video and you are absolutely right Meryl was wearing a black bikini yesterday!!! I honed in on the green reflection and somehow translated that to the bikini--even though I watched it to the end a couple times!!! LOL Just projecting my WISHES too far into it!! LOL

Jet:  At first I did too....just looking at the bikini and dark hair .... but looked again, and saw differently.  Hey, are you a quilter?  I noticed you posted something about quilters potluck.  I dabble in it and have a huge interest in it and fabric.  

 
Hey, gunner....yes, i am a quilter.   Have sewn all my life and found my real passion when I started actually learning the proper process since about 2000.  Dabbled in it earlier--in the '80s when they were promoting "quilt as you go"--before rotary cutters and such that make it so much quicker and easier.  I don't know anyone (including myself!) who tried that and finished anything!!   HAHA  I'd love to share!  Don't claim to know that much, but I'm pretty much doing something with it when I have a free moment or two.  A lot of the good shops have gone out of business in SoCal the past few years.  Was a great one in Redlands area called The Calico Horse.  Not there anymore--and some others around the area.  Couple good ones in Riverside area--and Monica's in Palm Desert is HUGE!

Do you have a particular area of interest?  I love the retro stuff--fabs--like 1930s and Civil War.  I could go on and on, as you can see....  Let's get together!  Always love to meet new aspiring quilters!  It is such fun!
