Gabriele....how is everything going with the fire dangers????? have they improved any??????
We've had a fairly moderate few days. But it will be heating up again towards the weekend, when we also celebrate our Australia Day. Celebrations have been cancelled by some of the councils because of the forecast heat. Maybe just as well, as there are protests every year by the indigenous Australia for who it is colonisation/invasion day and a day of grief, not celebration.

There is a 'Starr' (Andrews), a US figure skater. She competes in the Four Continents Championships this weekend. Is Star(r) a common name? I haven't heard it here.
it is fairly common here for girls.....not the most common though....its also common to have the name Starla here too

LOL....it came to my mind too.....esp since she apparently did like a fb live or something and said if she had a girl she would want to name her Teal........hmmmmmmmmmmmmTeal? Teal is the club colour of a local football club. Or maybe it's spelt differently. Sounds too close to 'seal' imo. You'd want to imagine what other kids make of it when they get to school ect. Or just shout it across the yard, as if you're calling the kid for lunch. If it sounds silly..... then it probably is. *lol*
My son's middle name is 'Ronan', which means 'tiny seal'. At least he isn't called 'Seal' outright. *lol*
