Well, it's true that Sexier wasn't in then. They danced during the days when even a married couple slept in twin beds (in a movie). With Maks wanting to do films, might be time to bring those beds back!!!!

O.K. Got behind here because I got on the phone with my friend Angela McEwan, and neither of us ever knows when to shut up! She lives in Whittier, California and was in the film Nebraska with Bruce Dern.
Anyway, she told me what all she is working on now, so it was interesting. I asked if she has had more offers since Nebraska (since it was nominated for an Oscar), and she said, "Oh, yes." I told her that I knew she had an agent and asked if she also has a publicist. She said, "Yes" so I asked if her publicist hangs around when she makes an appearance someplace, and she said, "No".I didn't tell her why I was asking.

Yes on Road. Not as good this year, I didn't think. Agree on Fat Quarters. Have you been to Eleanor Burns' place in San Marcos? Ok--lots of stuff but I have trouble really getting into her place. Almost over stimulating and the warehouse layout isn't that attractive.

Do you know Stars and Scraps and Quilters' Cocoon--both of 91 in Riverside? Both pretty good.
Yes, I have been to both places.....Quilter's Cocoon is the best of the 2....was just there a couple of weeks ago....I had stopped going to Road because it was just too crowded. This year I went early on Sunday and it was much better. I used restraint and didn't buy much!

Sunday is always the best day to go to any show cuz no one goes then! When we were doing trade shows in our business it was awful on Sunday cuz the time just went so slowly. Good time if you are attending, tho!! We went on Sunday last year and 3 of my cohorts bought whiz bang Brother machines and got a WHALE of a deal on them (since there were 3). I just couldn't justify another sewing machine! I'm find with the 4 I have!! HAHA It was great, tho, on Sunday cuz no one was around and the vendors are hungry to sell their demos. Didn't buy much this year either.

I agree Cocoon is better of the 2. I was collecting batiks this year on the run for my butterfly blocks and they had some nice batiks there.
