I have been following your posts: poor mouse. Poor Gabriele for having to observe the mouse when thinking about getting something to eat.
In the meantime, we are battening down the hatches and getting ready for a winter storm. School is closed. I taught for years and usually we did not close school until we saw what was on the ground the next morning. And so we had to listen to the radio with great hope that school was closing. The reason they waited: storms don't always materialize.
I plan to be here tomorrow night for the opening ceremonies.
Sweet dreams April and Gabriele.thanks Kos and can't wait to chat tomorrow (((hugs)))
do you have to put off the dinners because of the weather too????So far we have not canceled a dinner because of the weather. I tried to cancel a picnic dinner in July of 2016 on the very hottest day of the year. But three of us decided to stick around, and we couldn't believe it----sixty people showed up including the president of the university. In Dec of 2016, it was 20 below but we still held the dinner. Our next dinner is on Feb. 18th.
that is awesome I miss hearing about the dinners

Evening sisters...
Hope you all had a good day today. I just wanted to tell you that I won’t be on to chat tonight. I am going over to sit with the grandchildren tonight while the parents go to a movie.
Enjoy the Olympics and I will see you all tomorrow. HUGS

Good evening, Sisters!
I hope everyone is doing well....and, Luv, I hope you are well by now.
I hoped to be able to chat with you all tonite, but forgot we are going to a birthday dinner with 2 friends who both have birthdays today including the friend we went to Europe with in September (he is 85 today!). I will check in when we get home--and hope to see some of you still hanging 'round.
It has been really busy at this edge of the continent. Working on a special project...and we are taking a trip to Chicago and St. Louis next week for hockey. Long story I will share at a later time!
Seems a bit chilly here tonite, which makes me think of KOS, who is now under snow seige, I saw!
KOS: hope you are staying warm and cozy!!. I remember having an occasional snow day in New Mexico (if you can imagine that!)...but not sure we ever had them in the UP of Michigan...at least not that I recall. I remember mountains of snow up there, however!!! Small town and everyone could walk wherever they needed to go....if it wasn't too cold. But even that didn't seem to be a problem!!! LOL
Wishing all of you a lovely evening....and hoping to check in when we return from our dinner.
(((HUGS)))
