Val Chmerkovskiy Admits He Does Get a Little Jealous Seeing Girlfriend Jenna Johnson Dance With Other Guys

Val Chmerkovskiy and girlfriend Jenna Johnson are both professional dancers — but that doesn’t mean that they don’t get jealous over the other dancing with another partner.
The 31-year-old dancer and new author opened up to ET about getting bit by the jealousy bug from time to time.
“It’s hard,” Val shared. “The type of person I am, I mean, I’m fairly jealous. I mean, look, I have all these emotions, you know.”
He adds, knowing that he’s “not perfect,, but I have to check myself and be fair and say, like, … how can I hold this against her if I’m in the same situation? And I would never want to compromise my artistry, you know, because I wouldn’t want to make my significant other feel uncomfortable.
Val also revealed that his rekindled relationship with Jenna this time around is very different from before.
“This is part of the new chapter in my life and, you know, it takes some sacrifice to have a healthy relationship. And, you know, you gotta be willing to make those sacrifices and I’m definitely willing to make certain sacrifices to make it work.”
If you haven’t seen, Val and Jenna just adopted a new puppy named Anastasia.
