Cassidy, you sound so devoted to our kids. My utmost respect for anyone who chooses to work in special education. It comes with being hit, kicked, spat on, you name it. My hat is off to you and Carrie. We had our annual 'Student Support Officer Appreciation Week' just the other week. We also celebrate World Teacher Day on 5th October. I don't spare the expense to show the love most generously. After all I am entrusting you guys with what is dearest to me. There isn't a more important job in my opinion.
KOS, so nice of you to be part of this family's support network. They say it takes a village to bring up our kids and that's true. Unfortunately, a lot of relationships break down under the strain of having a disabled child. Mine did too. Sad for this young man that his Dad is not a significant part of his life.
But.... back to MnM.....
just had a look at the abc thread an someone mentioned an interesting comment by Erin Andrews, apparently to do with some of the DWTS recent developments. Does anyone know what that is all about? .I haven't found it.
I have not seen that either....will go hunting.
Gabriele my son is a high school special education teacher and has been for 9 years...he loves working with the children but hates all the paperwork involved...I give him credit for what he does and am very proud of him for it...my daughter teaches English as a Second Language at the college level and a regular University English class...
She loves working with the international students...it is hard too because she may have several students that speak different languages in the same class...I give all teachers my upmost appreciation cause I couldn't do it...
Ah, it is. It's the first day of autumn! A time for hot chocolatety mornings, and toasting marshmallow evenings, as best of all, leaping into *leaves*!

They come back Monday. We've had teacher meetings and getting ready for school all this week.That can be pretty hard. I remember having to go and help my mother get things ready for her kids. She usually had to go back 2 weeks before the kids arrived. So much to do, as you know. Then the meetings.....ugh. I hope things go smooth for you next week.
Thank you....me too hahahah I have some pretty rough classes so I'm gonna need some board fun at night LOL even though I can't stay up late LOLOL

I can handle the snow. It is the ICE, I am afraid of.....I guess Meryl needs to come give me some lessons on how to get around on it. LOLIce is also what I am afraid of---especially black ice whether I am walking or driving.
Yes, black ice is the worst. You think your okay and them wham..you hit it and spin. Scary. That happened to me awhile back. I was so lucky that I was able to get the car under control and didn't crash, but I was scared. I was only going about 20 at the time but still.......one car was already in the ditch.
I don't like black ice either...it sneaks up on you before you know it....

Wow, Luv! Great work! I believed already that if Meryl was with Jenna in LA, she was also with Maks. I think that smile is more than an "I'm happy to see Jenna smile."
I'm not sure about the hand. Things are deceptive at such close range. But it would seem to me if it was her hand, we should see her elbow bend. It looks like form the position of her arm (although you don't see the elbow) that it's straight.
Do we know if Maks is right or left handed?
"Carpe fucking diem!" - Maks said it.
Sorry, I had to use this. I haven't laughed so much in a long time.
