THANKS, EVERYONE.....WE ARE FINE!!. Didn't even feel the quake!!  LOL. It was funny because, had I not had the TV on while I was puttering around, I wouldn't have even known there was an earthquake!!  TV said it was offshore pretty much straight out from downtown LA (we are about 20 mies east) and quite deep.  So no damage and even though it was 5.3, likely not that many people felt it.  They said it only lasted 12 seconds....another reason I didn't feel it!!  Earthquakes happen more often than we know. I think under 5.0, they rarely get reported unless things fall off shelves!

Been busy getting ready for the onslought of the 17!!!!  Daughter and the 3 granddaughters are driving down tomorrow.  I was glad to hear daughter is only attending the leadership conference on Sunday!  It starts Saturday afternoon and ends around noon on Monday....so she is staying with us (which will be fun!) rather than in the hotel out in Ontario (about a 50 min. drive from us).  The students and other chaperoning teachers will get here Monday evening to begin the sleepover (!!!)....then we will all be off to the Mouse House Tuesday and Wednesday....and Thursday I'm certain my dogs will be barking!!!  LOL🐶😝. Hubby and I both got new shoes last week because I know my old ones don't have much support left.  This will be the 4 year granddaughter's first Disneyland excursion....so that will be incredibly fun!  I love seeing the Magic Kingdom thru fresh eyes that really experience the magic!

Been doing yard work today....preparing to plant the garden, hopefully, this weekend with the kids.  They all love to help, so we will go to the nursery Saturday so they can help pick out a bunch of tomato and vegetable plants.  They will likely be back at some point over the summer---always fun when they see the fruits of their labor in full bloom, if you will.

Well, hubby has been gone all day, so need to spend a little time with him.

Sounds like you have a buy time ahead of you Jet.  Glad you and Gunner are alright.
I know what you mean about seeing Disney through a childs eyes.  I remember taking my youngest to WDW a couple years ago and her expressions and actions were worth the whole trip.  The same when my daughter went when she was 5 it is worth every minute.
