You lead an interesting and seemingly fabulous life. Enjoy every bit of it (as I know you do).
Hi, Annie....I hope you are well and keeping busy.
I got a smile from your comment above. I would call our life very simple and rather plain (just like we are!)...but enjoyable overall. For all of that, I am most grateful.
My motto (most of the time!) is; Live simply, live well, do small things with great love.
I think that "Do small things with great love" is a quote from Mother Theresa.
I think you might be right, Annie! Years ago I stitched a small framed cross-stitch that hangs on the wall with that "motto" on it. Reminds me of how I want to live....and I think I've seen the "do small things" part is in a little book of Mother Therese quotes someone gave me.

Evening Sisters...
First let me say thank you to all that have been sending prayers for my MIL, It is greatly appreciated.
The update from today is...She did not have a stroke or a heart attack that can be seen. Her pneumonia is the culprit for this episode which has done irreversible damage to her lungs which were already damaged. There is no further treatment to heal them and at this point she is extremely weak and they her prognosis is terminal and they are calling for Hospice. She has a DNR so whatever they will do now will be for her comfort care. She was on a bipap machine (a noninvasive ventilator) but they have taken her off that and she is on nasal oxygen cranked up higher than high. She for the most part has her right mind but goes off a bit when her oxygen level isn't at a normal place. So if she makes it through tonight she will be moved to a Hospice Care facility. The doctors don't have a time line so it is all up to a higher power and her will to go on.
Again thank you all for your prayers. How wonderful to know that you are all out there in good times and not so good times.
HUGS.
So sorry, CEK, that the prognosis for your MIL is not good. 😢. I'm glad that your hubby is with her and his family....and I pray she will go peacefully and without suffering when her time comes. (((HUGS))) 😔

I pray that she is at peace and free from pain. This is always a difficult part of life -- when a close family member is experiencing end of life challenges.
