No direct flights. You always have to change planes except on flights to major coast-to-coast cities. Can't even get from LA to Norfolk without a plane change!!

I just googled Sun Valley and they have a population of 1,394!!! Airport is 13 miles out of town!! But I know it is a resort town so they have lots of temporary employees and tourists. They apparently have sort've on ongoing SOI show there. The review was about July 4th show but it mentioned C&M would be there sometime during the summer. Some other names were Lindsay Wagner, Gracie Gold, ANNNNNNNND Johnny Weir!!!!! Wonder if he's in a dress for the show?!! LOL

I would think.....if they were in an empty lounge, the flight hadn't arrived yet. Only served by Alaska Airlines so they probably have a coupla short haul turn-around flights in and out of SLC twice a day or so. Kinda like it used to be into the town where our daughter lives in No. Cal. Now it is only served by UAL so the cost is out of sight again. Was nice when Alaska had a direct flight from LAX for several years. Niece who works for Alaska said she didn't understand why the pulled those flights off the schedule because they were always packed. Probably not profitable even tho it was some twin turbo-prop Bombardier airplane--ugly thing!

just had a look at the abc thread an someone mentioned an interesting comment by Erin Andrews, apparently to do with some of the DWTS recent developments. Does anyone know what that is all about? .I haven't found it.

I haven't heard of anything big other then JH being the 4th judge. I wonder what Erin meant? You have my interest peaked. LOL

I just read the article and don't think Maks would be too happy with Erin's gushing over the Houghs.

I have a long two days ahead of me, so I am going to say goodnight to all sisters who are still on board. It has been a a good day on the good ship Maksyl. And I continue to enjoy leanring so much about and from all of you. I probably won't be posting tomorrow but will check in to see how things are going. I will be thinking about all of you as I lead a discussion group on a chapter entitiled "The Ethics of Elfland" from a book by GK Chesterton who was a huge influence on C.S. Lewis. It is about fairy tales, the fact that they are crucial to fostering a moral/ethical, logical and imaginative person. There will be young black men and women, older black men and women and a couple of white women in the group. The idea that fairy tales have anything to do with logic is mind boggling to most of the groupl And I have found that most of the participants do not see pictures when they read. It is a daunting and exciting journey. Thanks to all of you who have enriched my life today and wishing you sweet dreams.
