He wasn't competing....just checking out the event. He'd like to compete maybe next year!

What is the goal in the competition?

The goal is to build and fly a radio control model that as closely as possible replicates the same airplane in full scale. Some of them are HUGE! Son has his dad's passion for that stuff and does an incredible job. He won another comparable national competition 3 years ago....by something like .07 of a point!!! LOL

Ummmm....I'm not sure exactly where they hold it now!!! I'll get back to. you on that!!! LOL . This was the 30th anniversary of the event, so...lol....I reallly should know!!! LOL

It's only 8 miles straight down the road till it ends....if the kids are around, we go. Don't go down that much otherwise (no quilt shops down there!!). Parking is limited and they do issue tickets!!! LOL

We're doing well. Still busy. The little one received her First Communion yesterday, which was nice. The older ones are doing some off-season robotics demonstrations and probably a competition in a couple weeks.
