Yes I went to the ER and had xrays that showed I fractured the L3 vertebrae in the lower back...I did physical therapy and do my exercises every day unless like today I am resting it because it is achy...I am going to go to a spine dr to keep a check on it...

Yes he is so excited turning 4...me my birthday is in a week and excited like him not so much but happy to be here and in as good shape as I am in...would like to be a few pounds lighter (damn menopause)

Hi, Luv.  Anyone know if this is the last SOI show for a while?  This one was quite disconnected from the tour they did during dwts.  Maybe because it appears there is a pretty big skating community in SV and probably not much entertainment coming around resort areas in the summer!!   Probably to help promote skating activities there come winter?  Just wondering if Meryl will have a break from skating coming up.

Glad you got a laugh from my earlier post. I was/am just soooooooooo happy today!!!!! Wonder why!!! LOL Couldn't contain myself!! Laughter is good for the soul too......

I guess they will live together when they are in the same city! haha You know, stay at each other's apartment or house instead of one of them going to a hotel. 
I read a direct quote from Maks at the beginning of Season 18 where he said that he is shyer than people think and is not always out chasing girls. Peta approached him and probably Karina too. Someone introduced him to Kate Upton, and they began to have trouble even the first month. They "dated" for about six months. I wonder why he said he was dating all these women but won't come out with it with Meryl.

Hi Annie, Maks actually denied he was dating Upton before he finally admitted it shortly before they broke up.  Same thing with Peta.  In fact, I came across a video on youtube where the announcer was saying they weren't even sure the two had been dating because they kept it under wraps.  I have no idea about Karina, but I do remember hearing that she supposedly led Maks to believe she was pregnant with his baby.  Don't know if that's true, though.
 

I saw a clip on Extra with him and Peta (not recently) where that awful-voiced British? person said something to them about a Dancing With The Stars wedding, and Maks replied, "Not on Dancing With the Stars."
 

On a personal note, our family has some very exciting news!  New grandbaby!  This is a bit unusual as our daughter and son-in-law are adoptive parents.  They have 2 adopted daughters and have just become foster parents to a 3rd baby girl.  This one is 13 mos. old; had been in the custody of a grandmother and aunt since she was 9 days old.  I have much empathy for grandma and auntie as I cannot imagine how that must feel but both were in favor of the change, which is a very loving act in and of itself.  The 90 day clock starts ticking now for termination of parental rights.  After that the adoption can move forward.

Just wanted to share.....our whole family is excited!!

Hi Jet.  I am not sure if they have anything planned for the end of Aug to the beg. of Oct.  However, I do know that they start up shows again on Oct 19, those are the ones that will be taped and later put on TV.  I guess that would only give them a few weeks break if that.  I am sure they will have to practice for those and maybe change their routines???  They are sure busy.  I have no idea how she is going to keep up with school work and such.  I know she prides herself on her grades so I doubt she will have any free time for a social life with that and her skating schedule.  It is a good thing that Maks is going to be part of a show with her or she would never see him.  When does Maks start filming his movie?  I think from now on, things might be pretty "dry" in the MnM '"crumb" department.
