We have been dealing with some trouble with our house. Had a termite inspection and found some moisture under the house along with some "fungus" as a result of the humidity. Have had several companies come out and the first estimate we got was 13,000.00, this was a friend of a friend so to speak the last company was today and they will do the work plus extras for 4100.00 that is a HUGE difference.
We are also getting a quote on a generator and we have to have some limbs taken out of our huge oak tree in the back yard before winter gets here and we have snow or ice cause they will fall.
Oh the joys of being a homeowner...LOL

So sorry to hear about your "house fungus". That is a HUGE difference in estimates. I hope you get a few more. Estimates shouldn't be that far apart, if reputable. How on earth would they treat it? Spray, replacing things? Keep us posted. HUGS.
