I am sorry I missed your question...LOL
They start the work under the house on October 8 and should be done on the 9th. They said it is a 2 day job.  We also have to get some limbs taken out of our big oak tree before the winter and any snow/ice storms we may have.  It just needs a good “limb cut”. LOL

Hope it all goes well.  I am doing some tree work myself.  Ugh....lol

We have a young red maple in the front yard.  It is gowing good but some of the bottom branches need to be taken out to give it better shape, we will do that in another month.

Ah, it is. It's the first day of autumn! A time for hot chocolatety mornings, and toasting marshmallow evenings, as best of all, leaping into *leaves*!

Did you read the article CEK posted about Maks and Peta having “retired” from pro dancing??  I wonder what they are doing for income!!!

No...didn't read that....I cant believe that...yes...what are they going to do.

I read she loved acting in that movie she did.  I saw a post that they had something in the works with Magic Johnson...not sure what that is all about. But remember they do own all those dance companies.  They are also going to do another tour and Jenna will be in this one too.

Those tours are HARD WORK.....and they are expanding the studios fairly quickly.  I’m a big fan of Magic Johnson.  Always liked him as a player...loved him, in fact....and was so upset when he was diagnosed iwth AIDS.  He’s a walking miracle and a superb businessman...does a lot of stuff for people in South Central LA and other places.

I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer. What kind of rash did Pabst have?  Our Lab had a bad bout with dermatitis this summer.  I started adding some olive or avocado oil to his food, which helped clear it up, it seems.  I’m wondering, tho, if some of it was the dog shampoo didn’t get completely hosed off from a bath.  He chewed himself up pretty well.  But it’s all cleared up now.  Last bath I used Ivory soap...and seemed to be fine.

It starts as rough spots that turn red and crusty then as they dry up his fur may come out a bit and it peels as it heals.  He gets it a lot between his back legs but has had it under his neck and on his body in spots.
The doctor gave us a spray for anti-fungal/bacteria problems and I got some ointment that uses natural oils and other natural things.  It works I also use their soap for problems too.  I have used one of the ointments for dry skin.  The company is “Natural Dog Comany”.

That sounds somewhat similar to what our dog had but he didn’t have any fungal or bacterial issues.  I’ll look for the Natural Dog. Company products.  Are they in Petsmart or Walmart or do they come only thru the vets??

On line...that is how I got them.  They are a really good company to order from.
