Hi Sisters!
Just wanting to let you know that I came back from hospital with a new spare part.     Anaesthestics didn't agree with me, lots of fainting spells and puking with very low blood pressure.  On the upside. I have been off pain medication within 48 hours of my total hip replacement, which is just perfect!!!.
Hope all has been well in the sisterhood in the interim.
Looks like you have to swing the mop for a sping cleaning again, CEK!   *lol*  Glad you got your tooth sorted.  Toothaches are so debilitating.
Take care.

Hello Gabriele, I didn't know you had went in for you hip replacement.  I hope it went better then this one....LOL

Just kidding.  Pretty soon you will be up and dancing.....hehe.  Sorry that the Anaesthestics didn't agree with you.  Those can be a bit scary when that happens.  However, it sounds like you are doing well.  Are you at home or in a rehab/hospital?  Keep us update.  Very happy for you.  Hugs

Well....  if I had just woken up with the legs of a supermodel....   *lol*  but it wouldn't go with the rest of me, just like in the pic.   *lol*

Normally, patients stay for 2 - 3 nights following hip replacement.  I did stay for 4 nights, as they couldn't get my blood pressure up enough to walk around without dizziness and the risk of falling.   I was offered to transfer to a rehab clinic, but went  home.  My little guy had not spent a night away since birth and so felt it was the best to not overdo it.  Our new support worker stayed at our house while I was gone.  Luv, our previous guy Sam works as systems analyst with NEC, an IT company now.  We are lucky to still have the expertise as the new guy also studies computer science.

Glad you are home.  Will you be getting rehab there or are you on your own? lol  How did your little guy do while you were in the hospital?  Hope he handled it well.  You are so lucky to have found a good support worker, sounds like another winner.  The issue with my computer seem to have cleared up. I have NO IDEA why, but one day, the "problems" just stopped and with no updates or anything. LOL  I keep telling myself, it must have been because I threaten it with being returned to the store. LOL !!!!!

Keep us updated on your progress. HUGS

Hey everyone.  Hope you are doing well.  I am much better now, tooth is still a tad bit sensitive to the touch but they said it will be till all the infection has gone.
So it is summer here in VA, guess we are going to miss spring.  Been in the 80's most of the week, looking for rain tonight.
Been busy helping my DIL do some work in her kitchen.  Hubby and my son will be knocking a wall down tomorrow.  Fingers crossed it goes as planned.  LOL

Going to be posting some news off and on while I do some things here.

Glad that your tooth pain is down to "minimal".  HUGS  Sounds like quite a project your DIL is planning.  It is wonderful that they can do some of the work themselves.  Hope nothing unexpected pops up.

Oh April, I am so sorry.  I wish I could be there to hold your hand in person. I sent you an e-mail, but words just do not seem to be able to convey what I feel or wish I could do for you at this time.  PLEASE, if you need ANYTHING, let me know.  I am sending you lots of prayers, love, hand holding and friendship.

Hey Luv, my tooth is much better now, not completely well but getting there.  Working at my son and DIL has been an exhausting undertaking.  She is an organized "keeper of things" not what I call a hoarder but she could be down the road.  Hubby and my son took town a wall and hubby is building her a small island for storage and sitting.  We still have a way to go but I am old and she has a badly bruised ankle (the result of something falling on it) and is wearing one of those boots, but the pain is still as bad as it was.  Dr said it may have damaged a nerve from the impact of the wooden stool that fell on it.  So it is like the blind helping the blind.

Hope all is well with you.   I so  miss being on the board with everyone.  Won't be to long hopefully and a new season will start.

HUGS

Re: Get ready for DWTS Season 27

Here is a little news if you would like something to rest your mind....
DWTS Officially Renewed for One More SeasonAccording to ET, DWTS got a one season renewal. That’s not to say that it won’t be back in 2020…just that the producers are taking it one season at a time these days. There doesn’t appear to be any word on Juniors. Not in this article anyway. If it’s pushed to next January/February like Courtney suggested, then it would probably be too soon to announce it yet.

The Bachelor and Dancing With the Stars have both been officially renewed for new seasons at the network, ABC announced Friday.
The Bachelor, which is coming off a strong season with Colton Underwood, is returning for a 24th installment, while the celebrity dance competition series will be back for a 28th cycle
After opting to forego a spring season of DWTS, a show that has long aired two cycles per year, ABC Entertainment President Karey Burkeconfirmed in February at the Television Critics Association winter press tour that the reality competition would “definitely be returning in the fall.”
It remains unclear whether DWTS will return to its twice-a-year format, though the one-season renewal Friday seems to hint that may not happen.
