I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship. Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer. Meryl

Thank you guys sooooo much for all the love prayers and support.....my Dad is still hanging on.....he has COPD but has been doing well, but a few days ago he had a bad attack and just hasn't been able to recover....we are praying he holds on until tomorrow because today is the little guys 8th birthday and we don't want him to have to have the knowledge that his Grandpa died on his birthday......my hubby's uncle passed earlier today....he was 99 but still active and well, but a few days ago just started a rapid decline....so it wasn't totally unexpected but it was, if that makes sense.....I'm going to be ok....God will see us through....it was just a lot, in a really short period of time to process, ya know......thank you all for never failing to jump in with a hand and a shoulder....you guys truly are amazing.....and I am so blessed to have you in my life (((hugs)))

Having both my children being teachers, one at a high school and one at a university I think and worry about their safety daily on top of hubby be security at the local hospital after retiring being a police officer. We also have sisters that are teachers...it is a cautious time we have to live in.
Kendrick's death has hit the robotics community really hard. Coincidentally, just as I was reading this, my daughter mentioned that there is going to be a robot procession at his funeral. My heart!
