    Nurse Ratchet here trying to get hubby to ice and heat his back.  He and another guy lifted a heavy airplane wing center-section on Satyurday and his back is tweaked!  Otherwsie, things are good!

     
    Oh dear....those back tweaks HURT......are you using heat and then ice?

     With an interval in between.  Ice seems to be better, but VA gave him a new whiz-bang heating pad so he’s trying it.

    I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer.     HAHA!  They put the audience thru metal detectors and searches before going into the theater, so why would they trust anyone with knives?!!!  LOL

    Cool...or should I say hot? Lol.   Ice is always the go to, but I heard that a person should alternate between the two....not sure why.....how big was the wing?  Small airline size?

    The centersection is about 6’ wide by 15’ long?  About 150#, which was the no-no!!  They moved it into the paint booth, so had to stand it on end to get it thru the door.

    Some people say alternate; others say ice only.
