How is your SIL hubby doing....still hanging in there?

Funny you should ask! He was kinda hanging in there pretty well, but the past couple of weeks he’s taken a back slide. Today they took him to the ER from the rehab care place where he’s been for about a month and admitted him. Had 102.5 fever and they found bacteria in his kidneys or urinary tract. It has been a real struggle to get him to keep the bi-pap mask on, which helps him expel the CO2 from his lungs. Today is their 36th wedding anniversary...so great way to celebrate, huh?!

I have been plotting with oldest niece (SIL’s daughter) to “kidnap” SIL and take her to dinner tomorrow nite with a group of friends for her birthday, which is Saturday. NOPING we will be able to pull it off. Niece will stay at the hospital with him while she goes with us. H

Yes, it would be wonderful to give her a get away.....pick me up.....even for a brief time
