    Spending the first 4 days with our friends in the MIdlands, which is very different from London. They wouldn’t reveal what was planned for the American guests!!! Can’t wait to hear!!!     The trip sounds fantastic. what is a quilting retreat? Are several people going?

    Quilting retreat is just a weekend or however long a bunch of quilters from different places get together, lug all their sewing stuff and fabric stash, and sew all day and all nite!!! LOL. I’m going with 2 of my friends. It’s in Buellton, which is up the coast a couple hours near Santa Barbara....kind’ve on that “bottom” area where the coastline comes down from up north and makes an abrupt right turn!!! On the way (but off a county or state road) is a really neat tavern/restaurant which was a stagecoach stop. It’s been operating for well over 100 years....and looks like it!!! Very old and tiny....rustic....next to a quiet stream. Hoping to pass thru there and maybe have a meal. You kind’ve have to know it’s even there....not sure how they keep it going!!! LOL

    that sounds like it will be fun : )   your going to have a blast....by the way how is your daughters knee doing

    I have seen it advertised.....so.....spoiler alert...how did it end? Did the public remember the songs and the Beatles ?

    nope they never remembered them...(they also forgot who Harry Potter was and Coca Cola) ....but he did get the girl and confessed and they donated all the money he made from the songs to charity

    Not sure what happened there!!  My new keyboard is apparently haunted!!!  LOL. At least a few letters stuck!!!!!!!

    The premise sounds interesting.....might have to go see it!! 

    I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer.     Wonder why they have so many different names for the same chain....

    I think because Kroger bought up various local chains and kept the name so people would continue to shop there.  Down here Safeway is called Von’s, but not up north!  In AZ it is Raley’s I think.  Just marketing.

    I don’t think so.  Safeway/Von’s used to be pretty prevalent here but there are fewer stores in recent years.

    Her knee is ok....it will never be 100% but it is at least not swelling up like it used to and most of the time she can walk up and down stairs normally.  Gets stiff when she drives a long time (right knee) but she knows that will happen.

    I don’t think so.  Safeway/Von’s used to be pretty prevalent here but there are fewer stores in recent years.

     
    All we have here is dillions.....aldi.....and Walmart....lol

    Well.....I couldn't believe this, but when I was at dillions....which is probably more known as Kroger......they had some baby octopus in their Susi dept.....I had to stop and stare....never saw that before....lol

    LOL LOL. They must be farm raised, don’t you think? Our Kroger owned stores here are called Ralphs!!! My mental image of any octopus is this HUGE one they have in the aquarium here!!!!! LOL 

    this is what she liked....LOL
