    OMG!! JET AND GUNNER just saw there was another earthquake out there last night.....are you guys ok....did you feel it??

    Morning Sisters...Happy Saturday.  Hot, Humid and chance of thunderstorms for the next several days.

    Hope everyone is doing well.  

    Wanted to pop in a see how Gunner and Jet were doing with the earthquakes and aftershocks out in CA.  
    Gunner and Jet I hope you both are alright and all  your family and friends are ok.  Keep us posted on how you are both doing.  We are here with hugs and hands if you need them....

    GOOD MORNING, SISTERS!. THANK YOU FOR THINKING OF US OUT HERE IN ROLLER COASTER LAND!!!  We are all fine.  Gunner and I were texting while watching some of the interesting TV coverage after the quake last nite.  It got a bit technical...descriptions of the various types of “slips” and fault lines!!!  LOL. Only the daugher of a geologist would probably think that was interesting!!!  Duration last nite was longer and magnitude obviously greater than July 4th. Last nite’s, as you have probably heard, is now the “main” earthquake and July 4ths was a foreshock.

    Hubby and I were watching a movie when we felt things beginning to “roll”.  Hanging lamp was moving so we looked at each other and it kind’ve increased a bit.  Dog was sleeping on his bed.  When the house creaked a little and a small framed photo fell off a shelf, dog shot up and headed for the door!!!  Hubby and I still just sat there calmly and decided first to just stay put...then decided to go outside!!!  Neighbors across the street were already out with their dog.  The dogs “met” and sniffed around while we all chatted for a few minutes.  Folks a few houses down the street also came out but no one else!!!  LOL. It was obviously greater magnitude than July 4th, which was fairly strong here.  Unfortunately Ridgecrest was hit fairly hard again.  The frightening thing about earthquakes is really that you just don’t know when they might happen.  Unlike hurricanes and tornadoes, they really can’t predict when or how strong, but generally they are not as destructive as other types of natural disasters unless they are in a densely populated urban area or right around or on the fault that slips

    Thanks to everyone for your concern!  We are fine; no obvious damage...just a “little shakin’ going on”, as Elvis would say!!!  LOL

    I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer.
